8 Unwanted memories

After breakfast, Mizuki went to work, Hanami went to her old place to pack her stuff, so Asami was the only person in the apartment. What Mizuki didn't know about this apartment is that their parents bought this apartment to move in as a family before the accident, in which they lost both of their parents. Asami remembered the days when her mother told her a story about how she met her father. When Asami remembered the old story about her mother and father, she realised it was similar with the story of how Hanami and Mizuki met. Asami thought that the shop some sort of special spell, a spell where you meet your true love. Asami took her phone and went to the shop tho see how her brother works.

When she was little, she went together with her mother, who was pregnant with Mizuki, to see how her father works, so Asami had 2 reasons why she went to the shop: to critique Mizuki stylof cooking food and maybe find her true love, maybe

She arrived at the shop, and luckily, no one was at the table. The shop had the same look since she was 5. Probably Mizuki didn't changed its looks because it reminds him of father and how he would always finish his orders at an incredible pace

"Hey. You've come to visit the place?" Mizuki was surprised to see Asami here while she was looking around the place and when she looked behind him, she saw bullet holes

"What happened there?" Asami was worried that her little brother has been robbed or something like that

"Oh this? Yesterday 3 dudes dressed in black who had shotguns tried to scare me and give them all of the money, and the holes were made because they thought that the shotguns were decoys and not real ones" Mizuki explained the entire event

"Was it that bastard?"

"Yeah"

"And what happened to them afterwards?"

"The police showed up, arrested them and put them in jail for 4 years, but only 2 of them will spend 4 years. 'That bastard' actually got his sentence reduced to 2 years because he told the judge what happened and was decided that he was influenced by those 2 idiots who had connections with some Yakuza clan" Mizuki said what he heard from some customers who left before Asami arrived "And what brings you here? I thought you didn't like coming here because it reminds you of Mom and Dad"

"A story that Mom told me while she was pregnant with you brought me here and that story is similar with yours and Hanami's of how you met" she faked a smile, but that smile was filled with sadness

"Seriously? Huh, interesting. Want to eat 'the special one'?" Mizuki brought a special in Hanami's hearth. 'The special one' was a type of a ramen bowl especially made for her by their father, but she thought she was the only one who knew about this, but she was wrong

"How do you know about 'the special one'?" Asami was dumbstruck

"Dad left a notebook full with ramen recipes from the original menu. There is a 'Special' category for certain events" Mizuki took out the notebook and gave it to her

She took the notebook and flipped through the pages and said "Is my order finished and I don't know or why are you still doing nothing?"

"Coming right up" Mizuki heard and began doing everything the notebook said. Asami was looking around, but when she turned her glare towards Mizuki, she thought she saw their father cooking for her. Mizuki had the same technique just like him, but his younger clone. Asami was amazed and when she woke up from her fantasies, the bowl was already in front of her ready to eat

"Hope you enjoy. It's my first time doing it"

"You hope I enjoy it, if not, you have to kiss me on the cheek and you have to wash my clothes for the next month" Asami had an evil grin on her face

"Don't I do that already?" Mizuki threw facts at her

"Then the kiss on the cheek" Asami evil grin turned into a lewd one. 'He he he' her head was filled with lewd fantasies that almost made her jump on him and have sex right here, right now

"Oi wake up" Mizuki was already in his defensive mode against a horny sister like Asami

"Then thank you for the food" Asami laughed and started eating. After her first bite, she was filled with excitement and this made her eat her ramen faster. She finished all of it in 5 minutes or less "Where did you learn to cook like this?"

"From the notebook" Mizuki pointed at it

"Is this thing magical?"

"I don't know. I've read it and practiced some recipes how is written in it and I've decided to continue the business" Mizuki remembered the reason why he re-opened the shop

"Dad would be proud of you" Asami was happy for her lil' brother

"Oh yeah. Dad and Mom left some notes for you about the shop. They were planning to go on a trip around the world, but that didn't happened..." Mizuki gave her the notes to read from a cardboard box with the words "Family shenanigans" written on it

She took the notes and began reading them. There were talking about things like the shop, the apartment, Mizuki's school and her, but there was something written by their mother which said "If you make Mizuki sad or make him feel unworthy of his talent and life in general, don't you ever dare call yourself his big sister". These words made Asami tremble a bit, but took them to hearth and vowed in her mind to protect him no matter what and make him feel happy
