4 The Zylon forest

Delmenck starts off his journey into the forest of hunchbacked magic carrying along with him a little fear though. He could not imagine what was waiting for him ahead on his journey may be a bit profitable to him but could also take him towards loss. He walks for about 2 hours. Hoping that his struggle would bear sweet fruits. After some time he was all exhausted to walk any further so he made up his mind to stop at a comfortable and safe place for the night. He looked high and low and a large leaf caught up his eye. He felt that he could rest on the leaf of the tree as it seemed to be snuggly and comfy. He let his backpack down on the ground and reclined over the wide leaf. He tried to shut his eyes to doze off to sleep no later he heard a heavy and out of the common voice very politely saying "Well hello my dear child, Welcome to the Zylon forest. " Delmenck out of fear jumped off the leaf and stood still trying to puzzle out who had spoken up to him in the dead of night while he was in the middle of the forest all alone. "Don't be scared, my child" echoed a sweet voice. "Who....who is it ?!" Delmenck muttered under his breath."Look on the other side of yourself ." someone whispered. When Delmenck turned around to check on who was really behind the voice but he could just see the big fat tree. And at a sudden, he saw the tree opening his wide mouth muttering "I am Germano the tree. Don't shake in your shoes. You see, you are in the Zylon forest, one thing that is not certain about here is its uncertainty. Uncertainty of the events u might come across, the view and much much more ." emphasized Germano. Delmenck couldn't believe what his eyes just came across, but it clicked in his mind about the uncertainties of the Zylon forest."Make yourself comfortable "said Germano while lifting his leaf on which Delmenck was resting so far. He hummed and hawed at first but then made himself pretty much congenial. "What is the thing that brings you here, my dear child ?" asked Germano. "It's....its"Delmenck almost broke out about the Cire family to Germano but by giving a pause to his tongue and realizing that it wouldn't be the right thing to do he just said"It isn't much sir. I am going to visit a friend of mine who lives in the Embawe village." Germano understood the purpose for which Delmenck was visiting the village. But he turned out to be very normal and questioned him about why did he choose the path to the village from the Zylon forest and not the other way round. Delmenck got puzzled and tried to end the topic by just saying "It was an emergency and this way is much shorter as compared to the other one." "Hmm, so it is" replied Germano. "You better hit the hay before it's the crack of dawn "exclaimed Germano "Ya, you are right, I have got a lot of distance to cover up tomorrow so I must stay fresh."Delmenck smiled and went off to catch sm z's. Though it was unusual for him to sleep in the middle of the forest with the hooting of owls rolling in his ears, but he tried to snub it off and sleep comfortably. After having a snuggly sleep, Delmenck was all ready to start his journey expressing his excitement with a 32 teeth wide smile. "I hope you slept well, my dear child!" asked Germano. "Yes, Indeed I did! I also thank you for taking care of me the whole night," replied Delmenck with a sweet smile. "I think you must eat something and then hit off further." suggested Germano. Delmenck hesitated."Listen to me my child, you mustn't leave without having ur breakfast." remarked Germano. Delmenck blew hot and cold. But he agreed to stay back and respect Germano's statement. While he was munching up some fruits Germano discussed with him something which despondent Delmenck. Without saying a word of bye to Germano, Delmenck left for his way to the village Ktrocin. While on his way he was thinking about the words Germano spoke to him and was a bit disappointed with him. He tried to pass over the phrase but it was such a thing that wasn't willing to leave his brain. He walked and walked and walked until when he reached the entrance of village Ktrocon. He was to be said on cloud 9. Delmenck was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to enter the village and meet King Seniore Cire and Queen Melda and most importantly Princess Delliana. He went off questioning people about the Cire family but what he received in return wasn't expected. "Who the fool has come to our village" muttered one. "This fellow doesn't seem to be from our village or any nearby" added another. He raised up his question to several lads present there, but the only thing he could get bach was "What a stupid he is!" He had lost all of his desires to meet the royal family. He decided to return to Legianda the very next morning. He held his backpack down on the pavement and sat there, wondering if all his efforts to come over to Ktrocin are turning into nothing. He was watching people pass by and no one took any notice of him until when he caught sight of a young girl who had spilled off his apples on the ground. He went on to help her. "May I help u, miss?" questioned Delmenck. "I am sure a bit of help wouldn't harm me" replied the girl with a smile. Delmenck helped her gather all her apples back into her bag.The girl smiled at him and at that very moment, Delmenck was overjoyed...It wasn't the smile but something else which overwhelmed him.
