I learned more about my powers every day. I could do so much more than manipulate and conjure the elements. There were times where Hydra made me heal people, which I could do very well. I was never hungry or thirsty because I could make it myself whenever I wanted. The pure energy in my body made it to where I was never tired. Soon, there was no reason for me to sleep. Though I still did to make me feel a little more normal.

Hydra decided that now it was time for training. My powers were still new to me, even though learning about them was so easy. The training was exhausting, but everything was exciting.

Plus, every day that I trained, I got to see Wanda and Pietro. Not up close, but they were in the same large room as me. It was nice that I got to see my friends. Or, at least, what felt like friends. I think when someone doesn't want to kill you, they're your friend. Or something like that. I don't know.

---

Soon, things got dangerous. The so-called 'Avengers' arrived at the base. Hydra locked me up in a more secure cell so the Avengers wouldn't find and take me away from them since I was their most tremendous success.

However, I was not too fond of this and busted out of my cell. I escaped through a secret exit and fled for my life. Leaving everything behind was challenging, especially since I didn't know what happened to Wanda and Pietro.

All I could do was hope that they were okay.

---

The days following were tough. I had to hide in Sokovia without anyone noticing my powers, which seemed to want to show themselves at random times. After about a week of hiding, some terrible thing happened.

The city started flying.

I was one of the many people who were stuck in the floating city. Robots were trying to hurt people. But the Avengers fought to stop them. Including Wanda and Pietro. Which confused me. They said that they hated the Avengers. Maybe they had a change of heart? Or perhaps the Avengers were using them?

---

I was one of the last people to get on the flying boats that would take us to safety. It scared me how high we were getting. I had to keep conjuring oxygen to keep people from passing out, which was very stressful.

A woman was crying out for a little boy. An Avenger was about to get him, but I was faster due to my powers. Soon the small boy was in my arms, waiting to be taken back to the crying woman.

However, as always, fate wasn't in my favor. A jet came towards me, shooting out bullets at a fast rate. I let the wind blow the boy to safety, but I knew I wasn't going to leave Sokovia.

I crouched to cover myself, but nothing ever hit me. Once the jet was gone, I looked up to see Pietro. He was covered in bullet holes and seemed to almost be in shock.

He fell to the ground with a smile on his face. Something in me felt broken. He is one of my two friends. Friendship doesn't come easy to an assassin. Now he's gone, and it's all my fault.

The ground under us shook violently. The air was blowing fiercely. My powers were connected to my emotions, and right now, I was in complete agony.

Another Avenger came to us, and they took Pietro away from me. I screamed at him to return Pietro, but he didn't listen to me. My powers overtook me, and I struck out. The earth crumbled around me as fire erupted from it. The man already put Pietro on the lifeboat, and now he feared for his life. Good. He should be scared of me.

---

Sokovia started dropping to the ground. Soon it exploded, and I didn't care. I needed to die for what I did and my selfishness. I should've never let Pietro take those bullets for me.

I should've never stayed here in the first place.
