The Avengers all gathered into a meeting room, and I could tell that they were a little annoyed. Except for the Twins. They didn't seem to mind. I think they were just glad I was here. I sat down at the front of the table and looked at all of the Avengers. It felt like a long time before someone spoke but then again, many things feel slow.

"So, you've come back? Why?"

Black Widow spoke softly but loud enough for everyone to hear it. I thought carefully about what I would say because I don't want to anger anyone into fighting me though I would win.

"I just wanted to be done with running around the globe, constantly looking over my shoulder to see if anyone was going to kill me. I knew this place was relatively safe, and since the twins are here, they would be the ones to make sure I would be protected. That's why."

The Avengers shared looks before Black Widow spoke again.

"You should have just stayed here. You were protected."

I began to get very angry. Did they think they were protecting me? I was locked in a cell and was continually being interrogated. I was their prisoner, not a guest.

"I wasn't being protected. I was brought here against my will and locked in a room I couldn't leave without having people constantly ask me questions or tell me how horrible I am. If you think that's protection, I genuinely feel sorry for you and your poor choice of morals. I hope others have not fallen victim to your wonderful hospitality."

They all looked stunned at what I said. I was glad of that. Maybe now they'll think about their actions before actually acting upon them. I walked out of the room and looked for a place where I could be alone. Before I could get very far, Pietro sped up to me. I continued walking, and he joined me. There was silence for only about twenty seconds before he said something.

"I want to help you. Everyone does. But you can't just ignore what they are trying to do for you."

I slapped his face, and he looked very much shocked. I smirked and waited for him to process what just happened entirely. It didn't take very long, but every second was better than the last.

"That's what you get for being brainwashed by the Avengers. I'm just trying to help you realize your mistake by hitting you hard enough to get that little brain of yours to start working."

He picked me up and took me far away from the Avengers' watchful eyes. Once I was put down, I was a little annoyed and slightly dizzy. He needs to stop doing that. At least warn me.

"I'm sorry. You're right. I should be putting you first instead of everyone else."

I smiled and looked into his mind to see him telling the truth.

"Good boy."
