1 Chapter 1: Is this our chance?

In the middle of bat shit no where Pacific Ocean resides a man made island situated for young kids to adult teens whom come from medium to richer class families, a young boy aged 16 finds himself in class, bored.

"Psst Ronan, the teacher is calling you man, quit daydreaming again!" Says a friendly voice

"Huh what! Oh sorry I wasn't paying attention." Ronan looks away kinda embarrassed.

"Sigh, meet me after class this the third time now you've spaced out." The teacher states.

As the lesson continues Ronan spaces out again, he keeps going back to a weird lucid like daydream where he views himself being taken away from this mundane world and going on an adventure in another, the lunch bell rings out.

Whilst eating, Ronan looks out the window again "Hey Jack, you think we'll ever not be bored in this world?" Ronan asks Jack

"Oh God, not this again come on man, is this why you're day dreaming all the time now, better yet even if you could not be bored what do you think would happen we just up and go to a land of magic and monster haha!" Seemingly getting annoyed with Ronan and ridiculing him

"You two boys talk like a bunch of nerds as usual!" An petite sounding voice calls out

"and you never seem to mind your manners Ms. knowitall Alexi." Ronan who was resting his face on his hand gives a sharp eye to Alexi.

"Look at that my food tastes sour now because you two imbeciles always going at it." Jack throws in his two cents comment

"Well look at this gathering of faggots and sluts!" a harsh and deep voice adds in

"Wouldn't be a party without the infamous wannabe bully Tanaka, where is your boy band off jerking each other?" Jack hates Tanaka not for just his attitude but also family reputation.

Jack and Ronan both hail from the states, Alexi comes from the Russia and Tanaka was from Japan. The schooling system was home to all types of nationalities, however that did create prejudice and tension between the students.

At that moment Zepyhr walks in and gives a sour eye to Jack "I can hear your yankee ass from down the hall and it makes me sick, so shut the fuck up."

"You hate it so much but yet you say it in English kinda hypocritical wouldn't you say?" Jack was always quick on the draw with his words

Ronan still staring out the window finds himself causally falling asleep only to wake up to a bunch of chatter of confused kids and a teacher

"Just stay calm it seems like the power just went out alright!" A teacher was trying to settle down the scared students, Ronan lifts his head up and notices that not just the power but the whole sun itself is gone?

"What happened while I was asleep Jack?" Ronan asked

"I don't know man, but clearly this shit isn't right, how could a poweroutage cause the class walls turn to stone and no sight of the sun in the sky." Jack was analyzing the structures of the walls, it is a stone hes never touched before.

Ronan notices a door at the end of a hall, an overly large door. He approaches it and places his hand on it he can feel vibration "Hey something is approaching from the other side of this door!"

Ronan immediately backs off and awaits for what's on the other side, in walks a brigand of solider dressed in clad armoring wielding variety of weapons. The one unmasked starts to speak but is only followed by heavy confusion from the students and teacher. They can't understand what he is saying, it's an unknown language.

At that moment a amazingly gorgeous woman walks in wearing fancier clothes than anything they've ever see, she waves her hand and summons a ball of light and points at the teacher to approach, Shes grabs his hand and forces it in to the ball of light.

He begins to speak but it's the same language as the guard was speaking, but immediately after he has a look of despair on his face. He walks about to the students and doesn't even look at them. He sits down against the wall with his legs up and hands on his head.

The lady then makes the guards line up the kids and have each one touch the light, it slowly but surely it reaches Jack, followed by Alexi, Zephyr, Tanaka and then Ronan being last. Everyone who's touched that light was all brought to shock but learning their language and their statuses.

"Pretty average." Ronan mumbled to himself. But the persistent thought of what could cause the teacher to look like that was there.

"Oh wonderful I see many well looking candidates amongst you all, now to ease your confusion, we did not summon you here for a great purpose, instead we require the man power for our mines and brothels!" The gorgeous lady finally able to be understood

"I'm sorry I know I didn't mishear that right? Mines and brothels?" Zepyhr trying to understand situation

"So we won't be fighting like the demon lord or something?" Says Tanaka

The other students start getting chatty and some are even getting scared especially the girls. Ronan is still silent observing his skills in confusion.

"Now now, I do however need the special ones to stand in front please, those who have received the title of hero/great sage or any unique title like consumer or sin wielder." Says the lady

Zephyr, two boys and two girls stand up and approach the lady "Wait what title did you have Zepyhr?" Tanaka asked

"Umm hero I guess?" Zepyhr says, at that moment the lady snaps her finger and the 5 kids are ran through with spears and swords leaving nothing but blood and guts spilling out.

"Yo, what the fuck!" Jack getting scared alongside the rest of the class at that moment the lady tells the guards to settle down the children and to place them in shackles. They separate the boys from the girls and begin to guide each groups to different rooms.

Ronan whom has never seen violence to this extent in front of his eyes now understood why the teacher was to scared to protect even his own students, no one knows what was in store for them or why they would be summoned to just be put to horrible use.

The boys finds themselves at entrance to the mine, scared and not wanting to go into the dark cave they are forced along by the shackles around their necks and legs, in the dark with lanterns barely able to light the place they are forced to work and can only hear the sounds of their tools clanging against the stones on the wall.
