7 Searching for Evidence

Lila left, and now it was time to start my plagues. Honestly, the extent of what I do is but slight harassment, but because the male lead is an existence close to a yandere, he'll make it so that I either die or live a life worse than death. Though, luckily for me, in this story the heroine chooses to help me. Of course, how could we have a heroine who helps doesn't help everyone?

After that my friends brought me to the headmaster to complain. I'd already said it was fine, but they heavily insisted. Of course, this would be used as evidence against me. But, that is none of my business. That's the male lead's task.

We walked into the headmaster's office and the girls started vilifying Lila.

"Headmaster, the girl you have brought in this year is ridiculous! She is a vixen! She's been here but a short while, and she's already vying for the throne of queen! Send her away already, she's nothing but a commoner, she has no place in this academy."

Headmaster: "I'm sorry girls, but that has already become impossible. The girl is as you said, a vixen. Very skilled in seduction. She already has the protection of prince Laius. He already ordered me to keep her safe. I'd like to follow what you girls said, but I won't be able to keep my seat as headmaster that way. I apologise."

He bowed his head to me and my friends. Truly, the sense of aristocracy ruled strongly in this world. The only one to be slightly different is maybe Laius, though he has little choice. He was unknowingly forced to wear plot-armour.

I clenched my teeth in anger at Lila. She took away my prince. Mine. Of course, this was also but just another idea forced onto Eluvia's mind. Being born as a girl around the same age as his highness, whilst also having a high ranking? Of course the parents will dream.

This dream caused me to be delusional, thinking that this was all fate's work. It had to be. It must be.

That poison, and also the fact that my parents didn't exactly teach me it was bad to eliminate what I don't like, has created the existence of Eluvia.

But to me, although sometimes the thoughts of Eluvia float up in my mind, they still don't prevail my own thoughts of honoring the author.

We exited the headmaster's office and wandered around before ending up in the cafeteria.

My friends told me it'd be best to eat something sweet and relax my mind. To stop thinking about that vixen and the pitiful prince.

I did what they told me, but my mind was already busy remembering what I did in the story.

First, I have my servant throw out all Lila's stuff from the window.

Second, I order a dead rat to be hidden in her room.

Third, I'm just pretty much aggressive to her everytime we meet.

After that my role in the story almost disappears as I will get caught and exposed at the party.

Simple enough, no?

That said, despite me having no variety in ideas, the prince is also truly great at vilifying people. He'll turn my petty harassments into planned murder.

Is he truly a prince charming? Honestly, he seems a bit scary.

But now is not the time to question if he is a good person or not. Since he's a person who saved me, I'll make sure to give him his happy ending, no matter what happens to me.

After 'calming down' I put my three step plan into action.

I call Alfred and tell him to sneak into Lila's room to throw her stuff out the window.

At first he softly rejects me, "But miss, if we were to get caught doing such a thing... It won't do your marriage any good!"

Marriage? He wants to threat me with a non-existent marriage? Don't make me laugh.

I stare down coldly as I watch him shiver. "Do it. No questions asked. Got it? My dear butler Alfred?"

I lightly smile.

"Y-yes miss."

That evening I await the surprised screams but none came. What happened?
