28 Meeting.

" Dad, do you want to meet him now or after work?"

" I'd rather check him first."

Father and I were on our way to the fields. Well he was walking. I was carried in his arms. We reached the field accompanied by his friends. He didn't put me down as he usually does and continued to walk further into the field.

" Hey, Kelm! Are you not going to work today?" One of villagers asked in ' not that I care' tone.

" No, I'll work. My wife wanted something from the forest, so I'm going to collect that first."

Before they asked what was that, we left. Ago-birds were in the sky as usual, resembling fire balls. As we were nearing the forest, I noticed one bird that was flying over. Father tensed, ready to run at any moment at the slightest sign if danger. Majestic, Ago landed in front of us creating a lot of wind with his mighty, emerald winds. Is it just me or he is bigger than previously?

Donne opened his beek ready to speak. My father froze on his tracks.

" Donne wait!! Let me cast the spell first!"

Every time I come over, he forgets this ' tiny' detail.

"Hah....."

I let out a sigh while shielding Father's and mine ears with wind attribute.

" Okay, you can speak now."

" Mirta, why is your father here?"

Of course the first question would be why is he here. I knew that, but still is it hard to ask how do I feel first?

" He wanted to meet the person who trains me. If I didn't bring him, I'm afraid my family would ban me from going outside after yesterday's incident."

Looks like he finally realised that he didn't ask me about my well being.

"Sorry about that, haha..... How do you..."

" Show your other form." I heard cold tone when my Father's words left his mouth.

Both Donne and I looked at him at the same time.

" Dad, what are you.." I wanted to ask what the hell did he mean, but was interrupted by Doones snicker.

" Oh, going straight to the point, hah? You do know that I'm the King, right?"

" Yeah, I do. I thought that you wouldn't mind those kind of staff. Mirta talks to you normally. Besides," Father scratched his head," I'm not good with those noble things."

" True. Those courtesies are annoying."

Their friendly interaction surprised me a lot. However, before I had a chance to clear some of my doubts, strange energy engulfed Donne and his body soon started to transform. Long, straight. emerald hair were elevated by gentle breeze and his scarlet eyes seemed to contain the very essence of fire. Fair, spot-less, pale skin radiated magical light.

My eyes were ready to fall off my sockets at any moment.

"Now that I showed myself, I'd like to reintroduce myself. Ago Donne, current King of Agos and the magic teacher of your daughter. Nice to meet you." His angelic smile showed nothing but genuine happiness.

" Same here. Kelm, no family name. Former adventurer and the Father of this little angel here."
