1 CH001 In A New World

The last thing I remember is staying up late at night watching Cars 3. Cruz was about to beat Jackson Storm, but then I lost consciousness and fell into the abyss. I wasn't ready to go, I had a life to live, people to see, and most importantly a movie to finish Dammit!!

I was thinking about all the different possibilities when suddenly I appeared in a room. The ball of light started to take shape into something I would never have expected. A machine typing into a computer so fast as if that was his only function to live.

"Welcome to limbo, we have expected your arrival and will now send you to your god." Before I could say anything I was quickly moved and pushed through a portal appearing before yet another being with a smile on his face sitting behind a desk.

He said "welcome soul, you can call me ROB."

I quickly responded with the obvious question. "Am-am I dead?"

Rob: "atm you are dead in physical form, however you soul is still intact, that is why you are here at the moment."

"Hang on the robot thing said you were my god what did he mean by that."

Rob: "Well as you are an atheist you fall under my jurisdiction, however if you were Christian or any other religion you would have a different god to look after you."

"So every religion has they're own afterlife? If so what's mine."

Rob: "yes, and your afterlife is in the form of reincarnation, and as a bonus you are allowed to pick your own world and three wishes."

My choice of worlds were obvious to me. I had loved watching the series of anime such as Danmachi, fairy tail and such, however there was one world that I couldn't stay away from, the one world that had been with me through childhood. That world was the world of Cars. No matter what movie, nothing could beat the sensation of going to see the movie Cars for the first time in theatres.

"Ok the world I want to reincarnate into is the Cars world outside radiator springs, 2 years before Lightning McQueen gets there.

Rob: "Ok that can be done, now for your three wishes."

"For my first wish, is simple I would like to keep my memories in my next life, for my second wish I wish to become a transformer, specifically one that can become anything I want with just a thought." That covered my bases of what I wanted to do in my next life, become a race car, I can do that, become a spy, what better spy then one that can transform when going around a corner, heck why not both at once, want to say fuck it and become a dragon and go on a rampage, I can do that.

Rob pondered for a second, "That is acceptable however your last wish will be restricted compared to the last two."

"Ok, and for my third wish I would like to receive $10 mill every month without having to worry about it being illegal and whatnot."

Rob: "That is an acceptable wish, I now wish you good luck in your new life and hope you have a great time."

I close my eyes and I can feel my surroundings change as my soul is forced into the new mechanical body. If I'm going to be honest I thought it was going to hurt a lot more. I thought about all the plans I had for the future and then told myself.

"It's time to leave my old life behind, I will now be known as Maximus. I will become a abetted being then anyone could believe."

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I then felt the pain that I was waiting for as the rift in space and time pulled me into the new world and falling from the sky.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed the loudest I had ever screamed in my entire life. The fear of crashing into the ground scared me more then I would like to admit.

IN TOWN:

It was a normal day and everyone was at flow to get a drink on this hot summer day. That was until they saw the meteor

Sally: "Am I going crazy or is that a meteor?"

Luigi: "No Luigi saw it too"

Mater: "I'm gonna go check it out" with a grin on his face, and before anyone could stop him he was off.

Sheriff sighed and said "I'm gonna make sure the boy doesn't get in trouble"

Back to Maximus

Recovering from the shock only took me around 2 minutes meaning that if anyone saw me, I was about to be found out soon. Honestly I don't really care if anyone saw me now as I could now blend in however atm I wanted to come into town naturally.

I quickly turned into a Ferrari, specifically the new LaFerrari with the signature red paint and 2 white stripes running down the middle of my body. Luckily I moved fast enough to get onto Route 66 before anyone could see me and headed into town. After driving for five minutes I noticed that driving was very similar to walking. If I wanted to move I would have to physically roll my tires forward. I assumed if I wanted to drive faster it would be more like sprinting or running long distances depending on the circumstances.

After another 5 mins I could finally see the town, radiator springs, where I hope to spend the next 2 years convincing doc to train me and join me and lightning McQueen in racing for the piston cup, which I'll be letting him take the first one to help keep him in the right path, maybe. But the rest are fair game. As I got nearer I could see everyone panicking and shouting "Customer!!" I simply just smile knowing I'll be staying here for the next 2 years.

Driving up I'm stopped by a light blue car "Hi welcome to radiator springs I'm sally."

"Hi there sally, names Maximus, I was wondering if there was anywhere I could find a place to stay here for a few weeks. I am looking to find a place for permanent residence in this cozy town of yours."

Sally was surprised, she didn't think anyone would move out here in the middle of nowhere of their own will. "Yes, I would be delighted to house you in the cozy cones. And I must say you sure are a well built car, why would you want to live in a town like this?" Sally asked while her cheeks turned a little red.

I noticed this and decided to tease her a bit "you don't look to bad yourself sally" causing her cheeks or bumper to go redder I quickly followed up. "And what's wrong with wanting a peaceful life in a small town?"

She was about to respond when a backwards driving tow truck started rushing towards us. I must say his skills were better to see in person rather then on screen. "Shooot sally look here now, i found some metal at the meteorite crash. Oh well hello there my names tow mater."

"Hello mater I'm Maximus."

"Nice to meet you Maximus, but I'm off to find doc to tell him that the meteorite is nothing to worry about only some metal."

As mater drove off, sally lead me to a cozy cone room where I realised I didn't know how to use currency, however sally asked "now do you also use you headlights to pay and do transactions or do you have another way?"

Looking down and near my headlights I could see a vague transparent screen showing me a bank balance of my $10mill and a month countdown. Moving closer to the payment machine my headlight blipped and the transaction went through.

As sally left I settled in I guess I started to realise that this was actually happening and wasn't a dream as a feeling of excitement and desire came up from within me. The thing I didn't know was if I had to sleep, however that was soon answered as I quickly passed out and fell asleep, it's very tiring being a meteorite and driving for the first time.
