"You don't know what you are asking for." He leaned towards her. "You don't know who I am."

Eliana bravely stared back at his eyes albeit feeling pressured by the intensity of his gaze like he could see the secrets deep hidden within her. The darkness inside her.

Then she said, "You're right. I don't know who you are." She paused to touch his arm gently and continued, "But I know what you are."

The man in front of her leaned forward, their faces almost touching each other and if one of them leaned forward, their lips would undoubtedly meet.

But she saw it. She saw the uncertainty, guilt, desperation, and fear deep inside him that he was trying to hide through his eyes.

But what was he exactly hiding from her? Eliana didn't get to ask him nor find out as she heard him speak again.

"And what am I?" His voice dangerously low as a smirk appeared on his lips.

"You're my husband." She told him.
