19 Arya's suspicions

Arya looked at the skeptical Toni. She knew that he only agreed to her halfheartedly. But she had so many unanswered questions...…..

Arya felt terribly guilty, for, she could not help her friend when she was in need of it. She also couldn't accept the fact that Eliza was no more.

She thought that she felt so because she couldn't see Eliza for one last time. She only heard about the accident and suddenly, her friend was no more.

But there was something nagging in the back of her mind… Something that always pushed her towards the conclusion that Eliza is probably still alive. And this belief became her obsession.

She always wanted to find out who was the one responsible for Eliza's death? Was it all coincidental? But somewhere she couldn't accept it. It just.... didn't feel right.

Arya recollected that day's events many times in her mind. Then she found out that there were many major flaws in all that day's events.

If the man who kidnapped and caused Eliza's accident was a small thug, why didn't he leave after taking some valuables? Why did he wait for a long time? And even after seeing her, he didn't panic. He was talking to her as if; he was in his own house.

If he was a trafficker then he had no reason to leave her unharmed. After all She presented herself in his hands. She was completely at his mercy. He should have taken her along with him.

Hence the above both possibilities indicate that his target was Eliza… alone. He came especially for her... why though? Eliza was just any normal girl. Did she provoke someone? Was it revenge?

But if he was going to kidnap Eliza, Why did he wait for so long? Was it because of his confidence that nobody would come to the house that day?

Did he want to play with and torture Eliza slowly? Was he a psychopath? Why was there blood in Eliza's room that day?

He couldn't be a rapist either. After all he did leave her unharmed. Was the blood really Eliza's though?

The man was perfectly fine when she fought with him that day and so, the blood could not be his. Or perhaps there was a third person in the house that day? And the blood was that person's?

Since she was almost unconscious when Eliza came downstairs that day, she could not remember how Eliza was? She only heard her and understood that Eliza was alive.

Assuming that Eliza was not harmed sexually and only injured a little why did he kidnap her in the first place? Was it a personal vendetta or someone ordered it?

And finally why didn't he kill her, Arya? She had clearly seen his face that day. She was an eye witness and he could have been caught, however far, he may have run at that time.

Or was he so confident that nobody could find him? Maybe he was capable to escape from the country or…. The people involved in this crime were so powerful that they could save him….

But as far as she knew Eliza and her family were just normal people. Is there something else she didn't know?

Arya was frustrated. Every piece of puzzle seems to fit but there was still something she was missing.

Everything just doesn't add up together.

That person remained so calm even after seeing her in the house. It was as if he was used to do crimes... but if he was a professional then he would not have left the footage.

The final possibility is that if he was a kidnapper assigned to kidnap especially Eliza, He planned this perfectly. Maybe leaving her alive was not a mistake but, preplanned? But why?

He planned to kidnap Eliza and leave her alive as a witness. He made her unconscious so that she will not be awake for a few days.

He left the footage for the police to see that he had kidnapped Eliza. And by the time she woke up... Eliza was 'dead' in an accident. She also gave a statement and confirmed that Eliza was kidnapped.

What if he did everything to prove that Eliza was dead? What if the accident was a sham?

Arya's thoughts formed a hypothesis. That man created a fake kidnapping and accident in which Eliza died. Everyone also believed that. There was no dead body of Eliza. Only some blood. If her conjectures are true then there is a possibility that 'Eliza is still alive!'

But why did he try to cover up the kidnapping as a burglary if he preplanned to 'kill' Eliza?

When he was going to take his sweet time why did he hurriedly left that day from Eliza's house? Was it because he was injured by her?

But if he was injured, shouldn't he attend to his injury properly? Or he was afraid that just like her someone else would spoil his plan and become a hindrance? Or...

Did someone else come to Eliza's home that night? That was why he was in a hurry to take Eliza leaving 'the unconscious her' behind.

Yes!! This could also be a possibility. Either this was all preplanned or someone else must have come that night unannounced and he was forced to take Eliza alone.

If the second one is the truth then that man could be a thug/trafficker/rapist/psychopath or he was there for personal vendetta.

But if the first one was the possibility then there is a little hope that Eliza is alive. But the chances are low.

Why would someone come to that house at night so late? Even if someone came why didn't they see her unconscious?

If they saw her why didn't they help her? She was found by Eliza's family the next night. Even Eliza's family came suddenly and it was not in their plan.

Arya sighed in frustration. She has so many questions and not a single answer. But….

Her determination was strong. She will try with her everything to know the truth.

'Eliza… my friend... even if there is one percent possibility that you are still alive I will not give up on you. I will do everything to find you. But if you are really no more..... I will avenge you!'

It was a promise not only to her best friend but also to herself.
