Oblivious to the stuff going on with their mother and that strange man, Hannuel and Athanasia became irritated and bored

"Nasia, what's taking them so long?"

"Don't know.."

"Should we go and see?"

Athanasia looked up at her twin brother with a face that says "Are you that dumb or are you just born without a brain?"

Reading her expression, Hannuel fumed and started shouting names at Athanasia like "Fatty" "Ugly" "Nerd"

The two started bickering and throwing back insults at each other then they started chasing around the house, but reminding themselves to stay quiet

(Lu Family's Ancestral Mansion)

"WHERE. IS. THAT. BASTARD!?" said Grandpa Lu who was busy pacing back and forth with such agitation

"Old Master, Young Master hasn't been back yet- Ah! Old Master t-that's the vase Old Madam bought.." said Liu Min, a maid

The old man roared "HOW DARE HE COME BACK AND NOT EVEN GREET HIS GRANDPARENTS, SHAMELESS! IF HE DOESN'T COME BY, I'LL HAVE MEIMEI FETCH HIM!"

Liu Min nodded, a bit afraid "Y-Yes Old Master, I'll make a call connecting to Young Master.. P-Pls excuse me" then scurried off

Grandpa Lu pinched the space between his eyebrows and sighed deeply when she heard a very familiar voice behind him "You scared her.... Haven't I been telling you to not shout for everything little thing?"

Even though at his old age, he still remembered the first time seeing Grandma Lu. Straight silky hair, eyes that reflected the colors of the rainbow. It was then that he looked into her eyes and fell for her mad.

"He needs to get married soon, if he doesn't, how shameful would it be for our family" Grandpa Lu said with a grim face

Grandma Lu walked up to him and massaged his shoulders "You should wait, the man hasn't even had a girlfriend yet, how can you expect him to woo girls like a certain someone? You should be patient"

Looking up at her wife, he felt ridiculous "Patient? That kid is already at the perfect age, when I was at his age, his mother was already old enough to understand math[1] from professors at universities, how come he hasn't even taken fancy to a girl?"

Another voice spoke up "Oh he did, he did" It was Lu JianChen's older sister, Lu MeiRong

"Oh MeiMei[2], you're also back?" Grandma Lu was surprised, the girl was practically overseas since last night, had she flew knowing her brother had come home?

"Hi Grandma~" She hugged Grandma Lu and kissed her on the cheek, doing also the same for Grandpa Lu

"MeiMei, when did you retur-" Grandma Lu was interrupted when Grandpa Lu sudden raised his hand to speak up

"That can be for later, now, MeiMei, what did you mean by your brother took fancy to a girl?"

MeiRong nodded in response "It means what it means Grandpa, Little Chen[3] really did took liking to a girl"

"Did they go out?"

"Sadly, no, but the girl did get pregnant, I was in touch with her a couple of years ago" MeiRong sighed deeply

Grandma Lu held MeiRong's hand "Can you find her?" Her eyes looked like someone who was searching for their lost lover

"I'll try Grandma, I don't even know how she looks like know, nor where she lives" MeiRong hugged Grandma Lu to assure her everything was fine

"MeiRong.." She looked at Grandpa Lu, surprised, he never called her by her name

"You know what to do.." Grandpa Lu's voice became broken as he stared out the window

"Yes Grandpa.." MeiRong bowed and quietly left the room

Grandma Lu looked at her husband "Why would you ask her that?"

Grandpa Lu sighed "I regret but it needs to be done.."

*buzz* *buzz* *buzz* *beep* "Blasted machine!" Feng Shen kicked the Xerox machine

"Hey! Hurry up on using that will you!?" shouted a co-worker

"Hurry up your ass, can't you see it's malfunctioning?" Feng Shen gritted his teeth and tried containing his temper

A shadow crossed his vision, before he knew it, some woman was already beside him, he stumbled back in surprise

"You just press this *beep* And then press this *buzz* How many?" asked the woman

"A-Ah?"

"How many copies do you need?"

"O-Oh, I need 5 copies of these pls.." Feng Shen handed the papers to the lady

The woman did her work, and after a minute it was all done "Here you go Mr. Feng" The lady handed him the papers

He took the papers "H-How?.."

"You're new here right?" The lady looked at him

Feng Shen felt awkward and his voice became a bit small "Y-Yes.. How?.."

"You have a name tag" The lady pointed at his chest

Feng Shen looked at the woman and noticed she doesn't have one, he then fixed his name tag "Oh... Right..U-Uhm... T-thank you.."

She stretched her hand "Min Ye"

"P-Pardon?" Feng Shen tilted his head in confusion

The lady smiled "Just remember it" She then left to do her work while Feng Shen was left there, dazed

'Where have I seen her before?...'

Hey guys, I'm sorry if I have not been able to publish chapters, my grandfather got sick since last Wednesday and the doctor says he might pass away soon.... I don't know what to do but I'll keep writing, this is a gift he left me and I know he'll be proud, I've been taking care of him since and my grandma came back from another country now, so I have so much free time... I don't know if I'll mass update but there are drafts for chapters, up to 123 in total... I'll make them longer and update them accordingly.... I'm really sorry, and I think my cover will be done in like... 2 weeks? They said I was 50 something in the queue so yeah, the novel's still naked so pls bear with me..
