Jemmimah thought deeply

She knew she was asking for trouble the moment she let JiangChen in her life again

She already had many things to think about

Jemmimah remembered about a year ago

It was Christmas Eve and she just got home after a party at her friend's place, there she saw two kids who were shivering and giving each other heat to live

The moment she saw the scene her heart ached so much she wanted to cry but the cold made her eyes sting

She walked up to them and offered them to go inside, she fed them and gave them new clothes

She looked at the pair, the little girl had pale skin which glistened as Imperial Jade after she had a bath, her eyes showed that she knew more for her age, she had the aura of a queen who had been sovereign for centuries

Her gaze went to the young man beside the girl, he had a domineering aura around him, he noticed her looking at him and he smiled. The moment he smiled, Jemmimah felt as if it was already spring, the young man suddenly turned the cold apartment into a warm cozy place for a picnic, his body glowed despite him being outside as if the cold didn't bother him at all

She gaped at the two, and as he stared at them longer, a certain man entered her head, she shook her head to get rid of the idea. The two looked like a pair of gods that came down to Earth

'Why were they outside the cold whether tho?'

The moment Jemmimah asked this, the two glared at her intensely as if she stepped over their bottom line, suddenly the girl spoke

"Are you our mother?"

Jemmimah blinked in confusion

'What? Their mother? Nobody even laid me down in bed yet!'

She almost spit out blood when she heard the question

Jemmimah explained everything to the two

They blinked and couldn't comprehend the situation

They asked her to take them in, they had nowhere to go so she took care of them and they grew up in a span of a year

Jemmimah sighed and stared at the ceiling as she remembered the stuff that happened

She got out of the bath and got dressed, she was trying her hair when she saw the scene at the living room

A cold and aloof young lady was pouting cutely with her eyes that seemed to contain a thousand stars that possess knowledge all over the universe and the man beside her look like he came out of Greek History, he had godly features that even Apollo would be pale and holding his hand was a carefree and youthful lad, his smile brought about the coziness of warmth, his facial features were almost identical to the man

Jemmimah wandered off into a daze, the trio infront of her seemed to have came out of a perfect masterpiece, she stood there and snapped back to reality when she heard the little guy's clear voice

"Mommy!"

Hannuel jumped on her and cuddled her leg

"Can we go? Pleaaaseeee"

"Uhh..." I don't know what's happening, why are you suddenly hugging my leg!

"We'll go to a party later"

Jemmimah looked at JiangChen with disbelief

"Mommy, can we?" Athanasia looked at her expectantly, Jemmimah trusted her choices and needs and she was well mannered and polite outside but what about..

"I'll watch over them"

As soon as she was thinking of rules to tell them, JiangChen spoke up

"What?" She blinked and looked at the man, what was he saying now!?

"I said I'll watch over them, you can come too but you'll be late" He explained

"Wait... why? I'm not even goin-" She was cut off by the gazes of the three at her, they all looked pitiful and sad as if they were left alone in the world

"A-Alright.... I-I'll go" Jemmimah gave in, she couldn't resist those looks, they were simply too cute

JiangChen's face lit up "I'll ready a stylist and a dress for you, you'll ride with us but you'll enter later"

"Wait, what stylist? And what dress? Isn't it a normal party?"

"It's my party, do you expect my wife to look like a simpleton?"

Jemmimah looked at him with ridicule

'What wife!? They aren't even under Mutual Understanding! Much less a relationship!'

'And what simpleton! This pretty sister had graduate at the top of her class in college! She wasn't a simpleton!'

Her eyes contained anger and hate when she followed them inside a car

(3 Hours later)

"CEO Chen! It's very nice to meet you!"

"To our new CEO, may you lead this company to greatness"

"To CEO Chen! Congratulations!"

JiangChen spoke with investors and business partners at the party while Grandma and Grandpa Lu watched over Hannuel and Athanasia

When the guests saw JiangChen with two godly looking kids, they looked at him like he was an alien

'Who said he was asexual?'

The moment he introduced them to the elders did they realize one thing

'THOSE ARE HIS KIDS!?'

JiangChen was oblivious to what the others were thinking, so was Hannuel, but Athanasia saw the glint in the eyes of the people around her, to show some face, she became behaved and quiet, leaving a good impression on Grandpa Lu while Grandma Lu was simply doting on Hannuel

'This little boy simply looks like Little Chen! Where did he see this kids?'

Grandma Lu sighed 'Aiyy, I wished these were his kids, that would be beyond fantastic

Grandpa Lu asked Athanasia if she knew how to play cards, she nodded in agreement and played to fulfill his wishes, they played three rounds, the first one, Athanasia lost, but as soon as the second round began, she instantly crushed Grandpa Lu

"Ahaha, Old Lu, you're skills are becoming more and more rusty aigo"

It was the elder of the Xi Family, Xi Hong Wei

"Heh, Old Man Xi actually dares to challenge me in Tong-its[1]!"

The two elders kept throwing insults at each other until Athanasia, who was watching silently spoke up

"How about you guys challenge me? 2 versus 1, that should be entertaining for me"

The way she looked at the elders brought a shiver down their spine

Grandpa Lu shivered, the little girl actually resembled her wife! And the way she spoke so coldy.... It's like Little Chen!
