1 A dream of the past.

Violet with light breaths fall into a deep sleep and found herself dreaming of the day she hated the most yet knew it was that day that made her who she was now.

she wake up on the day when she was just a 16 year old teenager and was woken up by her mom.

"vio-violet VIOLET!!!" shouts violet's mom waking her up from her sleep continue shouting : "you! wake up already! or i will leave you here and go alone by myself!.

Violet startled woke up from her sleep and curse in her mind thinking 'who the heck even wanna go to that darn godforsaken place!' but having promised her mother that she would go violet knew she had no choice unwillingly she got out of her bed and replies her mother "yes yes i got it already i'm awake so stop shouting!"

Her mother glares at her daughter and tell her to stop talking nonsense and that she was not shouting. Then throws violet her clothes to get ready.

Violet being the teenager she was used to find her mother utterly annoying because of her content nagging and she had a very short temper to begin with hence she was very angry but knew there was nothing she could do about it so just sighs and get ups to get ready.

As for that godforsaken place it was her mother' home before marriage basically her maternal house.

violet used to hate her maternal house a lot can't say that she don't. As at that place no one used to take her or her younger sibling, her younger brother by one year seriously heck they used to tease her over lots of things making her dislike her maternal house more then anything she knew.

Violet liked teasing people by nature but disliked it a lot when she was on the receiving end.

The reason violet and her mother was going to her maternal was because her uncle with his family was returning from america to stay for a few days. even tho violet disliked most of her maternal family she liked her uncle quite a lot as he has never look down upon her and has always encourage her to move forward so even tho she didn't wanted to admit it she was looking forward to meeting her uncle.

Having getting ready violet put light make up on and head down stairs to inform her mother that she was ready to go at that moment her bother said from behind her: " don't eat them even tho they are hella annoying".

Her younger brother Gabriel shared her sentiment regarding their maternal house and disliked that place as well.

Violet replies: "oh please I'm not some monster who will eat them".

Gabriel gives a shock reaction and replies : "how come thats the first time hearing that wait a sec if your not a monster then what are you don't tell me a vam-" before he could finish his sentence a pillow come flying at his face.

Violet say's : "god you speak to much neither i'm a monster or a vampire if anything i'm awesome and cool."

Gabriel hearing that make a shocked expression like he was hit by an arrow and he never known such nonsense earning him a smack on his head.

Violet loved her younger brother a lot even tho he was a bit annoying and they would talk and have fun and the poor guy would often end up getting beaten up by her for his words but would take knowing he couldn't do anything as it was violet rule over the house since her father adore violet the most in all of his three children.

Violet showed her tongue to her younger brother and head down stairs. greeting her father

"good morning father" with a smile.

Her father replies with a smile as well "good morning my daughter".

Then tells her mother that she was ready to leave and that she should get ready fast after saying so her self.

Her mother replies that she speak to much and get ready to go as well. After half an hour both mother and daughter leaves to go to her maternal house.

On the way seeing violet excited ask her "excited?" to which violet nods her head.

then her mother says: "don't you hate that place?" and violet replies: "even tho i hate that place i'm ready to tolerate it for a while to see my uncle". to which her mother shakes her head with a smile

saying "fine enjoy yourself talking to your uncle and keep yourself in check" and violet happily nods her head that she will with a smile.

Not knowing what awaits her was nothing but anger,sadness and depression.
