1 Prologue

A/n

This is my first shifter mate type story. So I would like feed back, comments, and votes. The song is because I like the movie.

All my life I have been taught that every shifter look for their other half at sometime in their life. This other half is called your mate the one person that you love and protect. My name is Lyle Moon the adopted son of Jacob and Scarlet Moon alpha and luna of the half moon pack. As good as it was to hear about not having to worry about dating multiple people before you find the right one, it was not as easy as it seemed.

Lyle's pov

Beep beep beep

It was five o'clock in the morning when my alarm went off to get

ready to go to the hell known as school. But going to the school I was going to made it ten times worse.

"Uggh it was just sunday were did it go so fast." I groaned as a rose out of bed like dracula out of his coffin. I finally got out of the bed after staring into space for several minutes. I went to bathroom to brushed my teeth and comb out my hair. I walked to the closet after getting my hygiene in check I pulled out my black polo shirt with a pair of black pants since we have at dress code at my school pulling on my shoes.

As I walked down the stairs the smell of bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes, and my favorite chocolate muffins hit my nose waking me up. But to get to the kitchen I had to pass the living room where the teens like to hang before school as I walked I had to jump over a black wolf  named Joseph while cuddled with his mate Ivee a polar bear. I side stepped pass a brown wolf named Abrienna messing with her friend a tiger Avante. The only obstacle left was my Bestfriend friend a wolf named Adriana not wanting to waste more energy then I wanted to I picked her up and carried her with me to the kitchen.

Walking into the kitchen would make you have to do a double take it was huge with a big table in the middle. On said table sat mountains of food with pitchers of several kinds of juice apple, orange, and fruit punch.

"Mmmmm this looks awesome." I said setting Adriana down as I filled my plate with the delicious looking food. Pouring syrup on everything I dugging in. The pancakes were fluffy, the bacon was crispy, the sausage has a nice snap to it, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the chocolate muffins ohh god the were gooey and fluffy and soft. Everything just melt in your mouth.

After eating I told my parents bye and I started walking to the school since it wasn't that far from the house.
