1 Prologue

A black sun rises over the horizon, and a strange cacophony of sounds ring out, seemingly coming from nowhere. Even though the sun is black, the land still lights up, revealing a large, lush forest, with trees that have blood red leaves and pink trunks. Strange primates with long, dangling limbs fitted with razor sharp, jagged claws flit through the trees, a deep, rumbling noise coming out of their mouths with no teeth.

A thin obsidian spire juts out the middle of the forest, faintly glowing with dark red runes. Humanoid creatures with black hooded robes run towards the spire. When they put their hands on it, they chant a short spell and disappear into the spire.

The inside of the spire is much bigger than the outside, with a huge, bustling city. In the city, there are floating cubes of 14 feet in length and width. They have the same dark red runes as the spire, but on a much smaller scale. Creatures with all kinds of features roam about, some have 4 legs, others have wings, some even have shells, but they all have one common feature. Each one of them has one black horn and a black rune shaped like a diamond eye with a snake like pupil in the middle.

Some of the creatures seem to be selling things, while others seem to be watching over everything, but the humanoids dressed in robes don't seem to care. They rush to the biggest cube in the middle of the city, a non-floating cube which is 120 feet in length and width. The humanoids in robes put their hands on it, and disappear inside, reappearing inside a huge mansion.

Without taking the time to look at their surroundings, they dash towards the sound of a woman screaming, and many more voices yelling orders. They get inside of the room, where a woman with pale skin, two black, dull horns, and a smooth, black tail lined with scales and a stinger at the end. She is lying on a bed screaming with her sheets stained red while women with one horn are telling her to push and helping with the operation.

Suddenly, a massive blood red eye in the shape of a diamond and a snake like pupil appears over the women's head, looking at her stomach. One of the women yells at the humanoids in robes; "Get to work!"

The blood red eye looks at the robed humanoids, and lets out a murderous aura. The robed humanoids chant strange words in a low tone, black chains rush out of their hands and coil around the giant eye. The eye tries to go toward the woman giving birth, but the chains impede it's advance, and it turns an even deeper shade of red. It lets out a deep bellow and sends red energy through the chains leading to the robed humanoids. The humanoids start to struggle, and after 2 hours, some of them start dropping to their knees. After about 15 minutes, all of them are on their knees.

"Hold on," one of the horned women screams, "the operation is almost over!"

The eye starts getting desperate, and it releases a pulse of red energy that sends all the humanoids flying and renders most of them unconscious. The eye rushes towards the woman, but the three strongest robed humanoids get up and bind it with chains again. After 5 minutes, one of the humanoids lets out a tragic scream and shrivels up, a translucent ball going towards the eye and getting absorbed by it. After 2 minutes, the same thing happens to the other humanoid.

The last humanoid takes off his hood, revealing a grey skinned face with no eyes and a jagged mouth. The woman on the bed lets out one last scream and a baby's cry can be heard. The humanoid lets go of the chains, but before the eye can get to the baby, the humanoid falls to the ground, shriveled up. A translucent projection of it is left, and it tackles the eye, ripping it to shreds. Unfortunately, one tenth of the eye detaches, and rushes inside the baby.

The translucent projection rushes to the baby, and it turns into translucent chains which wrap around the baby, then slowly disappears. The woman on the bed tentatively picks up the baby. She checks the baby, then says; "it's a boy."
