"The Potential Heroes are strong as hell!"

"I know right? It's like they're cheating"

My classmates are talking loudly inside the classroom. This is bad, Yumi is going to have her first extermination request… I know that Sidabras and Collette are going to protect her if she's in trouble but I can't rule out the possibilities that she can get hurt.

Just thinking about it makes me nervous. Just like in the myth, Hydra can multiply their head if you cut them. At first I thought 'Wow, that's a freaking cheat' but when I encounter a real one, I just decided to go for the body, and it worked. The body doesn't regenerate.

I feel various emotions inside my chest as I look at Yumi in the training ground. I bet Yumi will look cute in her battle armor, but what if she gets scraped? Her beautiful skin will be damage, I should make some healing potions using the materials in this world.

Yumi is listening patiently to Collette. Yumi is holding a katana so I guess that's her weapon? I'm sure she can learn something from Collette. While Collette is teaching the physical oriented students, Sidabras is teaching some magic theories.

I'm happy for Yumi but, I'm also sad. I'm sad that she's too busy to stay at home even once. We rarely eat together anymore, it's not the same anymore… But I know that I can't keep Yumi just to myself, I have to let her go someday. If you love her let her go.

Sidabras told me that the Potential Heroes are Heroes in training. Why not train the soldiers you say? It's because they're too old, in the world Noea. People with potential would be trained at the very young age, they will honed their skills at the Magic Academy.

But the training in that world is borderline child abuse here; it's harsh, even for me. So the perfect choice is the teens, at least they could somehow get away with the law.

The mission will be held tomorrow, they tracked a Hydra in the beach of Hokkaido. All of them are preparing, I should be preparing too. I have to get some camera. I mean, I can't just let the chance pass to snap the photo of Yumi's first fight.

First I need to find some decent camera, my allowance is 20,000 yen. This is all of my allowance that I've saved up, our auntie will not going to like it if she learned that I spent it all buying a camera just only for this purpose. Second hand camera is enough as long as it's still usable.

I arrived at the city riding a train, although it's a city, there's only few building here, most of them are shops that serves café and sweets. I could see the influence of the world Noea here.

There's some bakery that makes bread that looks like a small slime, why? Did they think that it's cute? I buy a second hand camera, it cost me 12,596 yen. I have some money with me left so I guess I should buy foods, I'll buy some ingredients so that I can cook and throw a congratulation party to Yumi after she defeated the Hydra.

The day has come, in the isolated beach in Hokkaido, there's a reptile with seven head, it's several bigger than a human. Using as its two feet to walk, it gave off uncanny feeling of danger. Azure shining scales, with small wings on its back, large white claws that can rip human flesh easily, it's the Hydra that Yumi and the others are going to exterminate.

They observe the Hydra as it moves slowly, all of them are wearing an armor customize just for them. Yumi's armor is made of steel and is light, the only parts of her body that's covered by her armor is her shoulders, chest and her legs. She's wearing a skirt to not hinder her movements.

Her katana is hanging on her waist. They need to carefully plan their approach or someone might lose their life. The teachers said that they will watch them and will save them if it's needed but she can't relax with just that.

"So what's the plan Yumi-san?"

Kasai Taki, he's one of the former classmates of her big brother. He's good at wielding sword and can use magic as a support. He is a good looking guy with a number of fans, but he himself didn't notice it.

"Kasai-senpai, we need to stun the Hydra using magic and after that, we will nerf it and after that we will stun it again to buy sometime, and then we will proceed to attack using melee weapons while the magician will recover their mana. Then we will repeat the process"

"I-I somehow feel bad for the Hydra, but we need to do this, we can't afford to be careless"

Taki nodded in agreement at Yumi's word. These two are the leader like existence inside the Potential Heroes class. Both of them are dazzling in brightness. Not only they excel in swordsmanship, they're approachable and kind, it's not hard to talk to them.

The magicians use magic to create electricity and hit the Hydra.

Now that the Hydra is immobilized, they put a curse on it.

"Attack!"

With her command, the one that wields swords and spears begun to dash to the enemy. The Hydra wants to put a fight but it can't move its body, it started to wiggle but it's useless. Hack and slash, the students didn't hesitate to attack the Hydra.

When Yumi notice the Hydra started to move again. She caution the students to be careful, the magicians still didn't recover their mana so they have to hold the Hydra. Taki and Yumi lead the students as they attack.

"Take this!"

"Oraoraoraora!!"

"Super hacking slashes!!"

Although the students try to joke even in the battle field, it only did a little to remove their nervousness. The Hydra finally moves one of its head and attack Taki. He just evaded the attack and slashes the body. All of them are warned not to cut its neck since it will be a problem if they had to deal with more heads than they already have.

If one looks closer to their weapon, all of their weapons have runes embedded to it. It helps them to channels their mana to their weapons since normal swords will not cut through to a monster body. The fight continues until the magicians finally recover their mana.

"Retreat!"

Yumi said, the students begun to step back while the mages started to fire magic.

"GRRRUUUAAAAAHHHH!!!"

They repeated the process until they finally worn out the Hydra, and when they're about to attack again, the Hydra started to become more violent. With blood shot eyes, it attacks Yumi. Surprised by this, Yumi could only protect herself with her katana.

She was blown away several meters, but her body has been trained by Collette herself so she could receive an attack without suffering that much injury.

"Yumi!"

Taki became agitated by this, he dash to the Hydra all by himself, when he's about to attack, he suddenly froze, no, all of them actually, even the Hydra.

They felt an immense killing intent, they don't know where it came from, but it's there, they thought that, if they move even a little, they'll get killed. The Hydra's instinct suddenly kicks in, it started to run with its two fit.

"You're not going anywhere!"

Yumi quickly recovered the attack, she pursued the Hydra. Holding her katana in both hands, she swings her sword. Just focus, every monster have a weak point, you just need to find them!

The words of her teacher, Collette echo through her head. She see a faint white glow in the Hydra's chest, is this it? Is this the weakness her teacher told her?

"GRRRROUUUHHH!!!"

I hit it! She continue to attack the white glow whenever it appeared, attack, attack, attack, until eventually, the Hydra died. The heavy body collapse on the ground, making a loud thud.

"Y-Yumi!"

Taki was the first one to react; he's genuinely worried for Yumi. Yumi could only smiles at him with a tired face; her companions soon follow her and complimented her.

"Amazing Yumi-chan!"

"Awesome as always!"

"Even though you're younger than us, you're the strongest!!"

Yumi was happy by this but there's one thing that bother her mind. Why did all of them stop? Even the Hydra stopped. Why is it? It's like they perceive something dangerous, but that's far from what she felt. At the time all of them stopped, something warm comforted her, telling that it's going to be alright. Strange. She thought.

Her teachers, Collette and Sidabras finally appeared. They have a smile on their face as they approach her.

"Good job Imouto"

"As expected of the Imouto-san! You're good as well!"

She didn't know why they're calling her Imouto but she decided to ignore it, her teachers are eccentric people so maybe they're just messing with her. I'm moving a little bit closer. With this in mind, Yumi look at the sky and remember the figure of her big brother.

Yumi finished the extermination request, and she finished it with a flashy moves. I'm kinda pissed when she got hit by the Hydra and was about to enter the battle field but Sidabras and Collette stopped me.

They did the hug and bit style so I just can't escape to that. When Sidabras starts sucking my finger and when Collette breathe became rough that it tickles my neck, I was about to lose my sanity and go wild. But you know, good thing Yumi killed the Hydra quickly so Sidabras and Collette have no choice but to let me go.

"Now where is she?"

I'm currently looking for Yumi, I already prepared the foods and the sweets, all of them are her favorites, I'm not a fan of sweets but it's for Yumi anyway.

Yumi and her companions return to the school, they need to report or something. I'm just going to wait for her, it will be awkward to face Setsuya right now. As I wait in the school gate, I finally spotted Yumi.

"Kyoro-nii?"

"Yo, let's go home together"

I want to surprise her, although it takes me a whole day just to cook the foods, it's worth it.

"I'm sorry but, we're having a celebration party…"

I-I should have guessed…

"Do you want to join us Kyoro-nii?"

Haaah. I gave a wry smile to the two. Basically, Sidabras and Collette saw my pathetic self while talking to Yumi.

"I'm not that sad you know? It's normal that Yumi spends her time with her friends"

"… But I'm not going to do that to you Nii"

"Thank you Sidabras"

I patted the head of Sidabras, that itself is enough, I'm happy with these little things.

"I'm not going to do that too Oni—Kyoro!"

"Eh? You're old, go out and make some friends"

"Why! You're treating me and Sidabras differently!"

"Hahaha, I'm joking, I'm happy too Collette"

Collette's face redden instantly, we sat on the sofa while eating some cakes. Maybe god is good, he's letting me experience this kind of stuff again.

"You two are too dependent on me you know?"

"And whose fault do you think it is Nii?"

"Yeah, who's that person that keeps doting on us even though we're embarrassed? I still recall the moments when that person tries to pat us even though we're in the castle with the royalties"

Guh! I-I remember doing that… But you're so cute! How can I stop myself! I can still remember the look on their faces as they tried to resist but then submit in the end, Guhehehehehehehehe.

"You're smiling evilly again Nii"

"I-it's not like I enjoy it, idiots!"

"Stop the tsundere act! It's not going to help you!"

It's not working, these two are used in handling me.

"The first time I saw you Kyoro, I thought that you're a normal one"

Even though I failed in surprising Yumi, I get to spend my time with my precious girls. Well, maybe it's not that bad.
