2 Invisible Mosquito

[Oldie but goldie]

🌻M A R I G O L D🌻

I was woken up by a warm light shining brightly through my eyelids as I forced it open. Sitting up, I stretched my relaxed body and let out a huge yawn when I heard someone giggling.

"Good morning Riri." Hermione greeted and I squinted my eyes at her, to see she was already dressed for the day.

To be honest, she looked like some kind of hot model in that uniform that hugs her curves perfectly, rather than a prefect student.

"Morning. What time is it?" I said in between my yawn and lazily drag myself out of bed.

"7:30, so hurry up and get dress so we can go for breakfast." Hermione playfully demanded while ushering me to the bathroom.

After I freshened up and got dressed in my uniform, we went to the great hall for yet another grand meal, breakfast, and met Harry at the Gryffindor table.

"Good morning, Mione, Mary. And wow, you look adorable in the uniform Miss Marigold." He mumbled with his mouth full of pancakes causing me to chuckle.

"Oh right, Herminone. Malfoy demanded me to tell you to meet him at wherever you two usually meet...again." Harry grumbled as Hermione nodded and rushed out of the hall.

Does she have a boyfriend? Well, its no surprise there. I mean who wouldn't wanna date her.

"Whose Malfoy?" I asked, out of curiosity and shove a bear-claw doughnut into my mouth while taking a seat across Harry.

"Mione's possessive lover. Stay away from him, Draco Malfoy is very dangerous." Harry warned. Dangerous?

"How come?"

"Because he practically rules Hogwarts and the rest of the Wizarding realm. Malfoy has every right to zap anybody, even without a bloody reason. Like a king, you know. I don't get why girls still chase after him like brainless donkeys with a death wish."

"Maybe he's good looking?" I suggested while Harry simply nodded.

"Oh, he's good looking alright. Beyond description. The one that makes your heart goes berserk and eyes mesmerised."

OoO~ Vhat is thiz? Is Harry in lovvee?

"Looks like someone got a crush~" I sang teasingly, making Harry choke out his orange juice and eyes widen in pure horror.

"Bloody hell, Mary! You could've killed me from the choking of my orange juice with that revolting joke you made." He dramatically coughed as I continued laughing till both my sides hurt.

"Don't worry I won't tell Hermione about it." I assured him while reaching out to pat his shoulder as he shove a waffle into my mouth and laugh along.

"For goodness sake, Mary." He chortled as I scrunch up my nose and chew onto the tasty waffle.

We spent about half an hour talking about childish, meaningless stuff while having fun teasing each other till it was time for class.

"Where's Hermione? We're going to be late." I said, looking at the time and it was already 8:20am.

10 minutes before class starts.

"Probably still with that lover boy." Harry replied with a shrug as if he was used too it.

"Fine then you go to the left to find her and I'll take the right." I instructed, leaving Harry in a confused state.

"Huh? But why?!" He whined from a distance with a childish frown.

"Just do it. We'll meet at the classroom in 10 minutes time!" I shouted back but not too loud and ran off.

After about 5 minutes of searching, I already wanted to give up and get back to Harry, when I heard strange noises coming from a dark spiral staircase. I roam closer to the sound, each step unsteadier than before, till I was close enough to clearly make out the muffled noises.

The scene displayed before my eyes got me, baffled and cringing beyond believe.

"Oh the angels of butter-beer!!" I unintentionally shriek but the sight of her and him, was a horrifying hot mess. I instantly cover up my glasses as the scene was permanently glued to my mind.

I'm surprise Hermione is a tongue person, even though she doesn't look like it. Well what do they always say, never judge a book by its cover.

She was pressed against a bricked wall by a Slytherin boy with sunny pale-blond hair, moaning. They were having an intense make-out session till I came in.

Well, this is going to be extremely awkward. For me, at least.

"My gosh Marigold! What are you doing here?" Hermione asked in panic as I heard shuffling of clothes and an irritated groan from her boyfriend.

"Looking for you? Class is about to start and I was worried about you since you were no where to be seen." I rambled and nervously laugh at the end, trying to lift the tension.

"Oh. I'm so sorry Riri, I totally forgot about it. And thank you for coming to get me." Hermione said as her footsteps echoed down the stairs along with the boy.

"Yea and I can still see your weird, pretty face at the back of my head, can I uncover my eyes now, please?" I asked, knowing a blush was radiating from Hermione's cheeks and took her silence as a yes.

The moment I got my hands out of my face, my hazel-green eyes almost got lost in contact with a sliver-blue one. It was almost...

Electrifying.

Indeed Harry was right, his stunning features got me knees weak, his charming face and lean sculpted body was something only god could make...It somehow almost felt like magic.

However.

I believe everything, no matter how beautiful, comes with a flaw. There's no way anybody can look that perfect. I believe, true beauty only shines if its from within.

Snapping out of my reverie, which somehow felt like forever. I return my attention back to Hermione whose cheeks was still puffing as red as a fire-truck.

I giggled at her cute embarrassment and can't help but still feel the silver-blue eyes piercing through my skin.

"Right. Riri, this is Draco Malfoy, my boyfriend. And this is Marigold Lavender Knight. My new friend, she's a transfer." Hermione introduced us to each other as she now regained her once confident posture.

Our eyes meet again and I gave him a shy smile with a small friendly wave as I shuffled closer to Hermione's side for protection from his intense stare.

I can't tell if he's glaring or staring, cos he looks constipated right now to be honest.

I would of laughed if he didn't look so intimating.

"Baby? Don't be rude and say hi." Hermione stated and he just gave me nod without any word of acknowledgement.

"Oh holy cupcake! Hermione! We gotta go, class is starting in like two minutes! I do not want to be late on my first day. I heard that the teachers here are naggers!" I whined while checking the time on my phone and she gasped.

"Neither do I! Sorry babe, I gotta go. Join us for lunch, okay? See you." Hermione said as she leans in to kiss Draco. I thought that was an adorable gesture but the moment her lips touches his cheek, I felt a burning sting on the exact spot. Ouch.

It was like..someone female-dog slapped me.

I touched my face, on where it hurt and thought a mosquito may be sucking my blood, but nothing was there. And then when Hermione's lip was finally away from contact with Draco's skin, the pain faded into thin air.

Okay, that was extremely weird. Do they have an invisible mosquito around here?

"Come on Riri, let's go." Hermione chirps and grab a hold of my hand but shockingly, my hand snatched itself away from her as if she...burned me. Before my brain could even process what was going on, I focused on calming my heavy pumping heart.

"Hey, what's wrong?" She asked worriedly and I felt like vomiting, but I managed push the feeling aside and shook my head.

"Nothing. I thought I saw a bug." I lied while pulling a disgusted face and tried to laugh it off as she sigh in relief.

"Phew, I thought I did something wrong." Hermione giggled and reach out to grab my hand once more as I did the same, then again the feeling of this particular someone staring daggers into my back, crept under my skin. Creating an unpleasant shiver down my spine.

What is going on?

Also Hermione did do something wrong...

SHE DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT THE INVISIBLE MOSQUITOES!!
