1 First day at the new school

Leaving the country is sometimes difficult. But it is one of the decisions for a better future.Summer was ending , and Dellen was thinking about the her school. Adapting to a new environment seemed difficult.

Now the holidays were over. Della's focus would only be on schools, on those books that lead to the future.

Moving to a new state, as well as moving to another school, away from close friends and relatives, was a new challenge for her.

She had already arrived at her new school. The director and teacher were waiting for her. It was the second time for Della to meet them, as she had met them for the first time together with both parents when they were introduced to the new school.

"Hello Della, welcome to our school." -says the director Mrs. Betsy.

She went on to say "Now I and the teacher will accompany you to your class. Are you ready?"

"Yes I'm ready, we can go," said Della.

After climbing the stairs and reaching the second floor of the school, Della saw that her new class was located at the bottom of the corridor.

The door opened and they were already inside. There was a lot of looking back toward the entrance to the classroom, and the haze was prevalent everywhere.

Della stood and watched the students she did not know, new faces , and she was feeling a big lack for her old friends .... away.

"Good morning class! Today a new member, a polite girl, with good grades and a great desire to study and socialize will be added to your class." -said Mrs Betsy and later she told Della that it was time to introduce herself to the class.

Emotions drove Della but she went on to say:

"Hi. I'm Della, the new student in your class. I came and studied in France, and moved to your hometown with my family. I hope to make good contacts with all of you. "

After the presentation, the class teacher assigned her to sit in the class bank with a boy who was attractive in appearance and very handsome.The only problem was that this guy seemed very uninterested in coming up with this new student in the classroom and especially in the bank.

"Hi I'm Della. Hope to become friends!"- she said

"I don't understand your big enthusiasm, is it because you are from the new class or is because you are sitting with a guy for the first time. I don't care if you're a new member of the class and the bank, just leave me alone."-he replied

Della didn't expect him to speak that way, and immediately her opinion for him faded. She felt injured and believed that the rest of the class would treat her equally.Also she felt very upset and wanted to cry at that moment.

She did not think that these quarrels would be a source of love and feelings for her and this boy.
