Worse Than An Evil Spirit For Following Her Wherever She Goes

The woman continued to read her resume and found out that her previous job was working at a multinational company. She then asked why she resigned.

Sarah Lee replied calmly, "Mainly because the company was not suitable for me". Hearing her own words and remembering the person that made her work there, she laughed.

"Its like when a woman marries someone not in her league, then they ended up getting a divorce because they are not fitting for each other".

The female interviewer raised her eyebrow and chuckled, "I see...".

She then continued on, "You graduated from a prestigious university and major is not bad, so getting employed should be easy. Why did you choose an electronics company?"

It wasn't really that difficult to answer but Sarah Lee thought for a bit. "Because I love games and if I were to buy or recommended electronics, it would be from this company's products."

"Thats interesting", she marked on her resume and dismissed her, "You may go now and wait for our call".

Sarah Lee stood up and said, "Thank you" while smiling. The woman nodded, she appears to be unapproachable but gives off a comfortable feeling.

The sky was ocean blue and the sun was hiding behind some clouds as Sarah Lee exited the building. She was just about to call a cab when she saw Jasper Kim and Liane Rou holding hands while exiting the opposite building.

Sarah Lee checked the time; 12 pm, she was already an hour late for lunch. One thing she was always on schedule was eating and streaming, it seems that not everything are supposed to go her way today.

She pretended to not see them when Liane Rou called out her name in a pleasant voice but to Sarah Lee, that voice gave her anxiety. Just why does the universe always makes them see each other.

Does that mean, she need to buy some charms to avoid evil spirits from following her even though Liane Rou seems worst than an evil spirit.

Jasper Kim and Liane Rou continued heading towards her way and went she finally got closer, "What are you doing here?" she asked in a friendly manner.

Sarah Lee gave a thin smile, "because I had something to do?". It was like throwing a question back to her hoping she'd get the hint that she shouldn't meddle in other's business.

She looked at Liane Rou who was acting like a refined young lady and thinking if she should find an excuse to leave especially when the thickness of her face was very incomparable to hers.

Thinking that Sarah Lee doesn't own a car, Liane Rou smiled kindly and offered, "do you need a lift?".

Before she could even open her mouth to answer, a black maybach suddenly stopped in front of them. They turned around to the man going out of the driver's seat and was shocked to find out who it was.

Jasper Kim was thrilled to see him and so he called his name,. "Mr. Chen!". Yet that man did not even spare a second to turn to him and instead walked up to Sarah Lee.

The cold aura quickly vanished in front of Sarah Lee while asking, "You done with the interview?". Sarah Lee could only raised her eyebrow. Why was this man standing in front of her and asking her a casual question as if they have known each other for a long time.

Noah Chen really did not want to appear creepy or that she might develop some thoughts that he's following her but these couple seems to have been bothering her, he couldn't just stand still.
