24 Trust

After they kissed for five minutes, they are finally done and just stared at each other. Rai is surprised and wondering what the last one minute was. Shouko on the other just becomes red like a Tomato.

"Shouko... Your kiss... how do you know about a french kiss?" Rai asked. He knows Shouko is pure enough that he was sure that she only knows about a normal kiss, but it seems he was wrong. Shouko answer with a note-pad while she writes it with all her will power.

[when I just walking around the school when you're gone, I accidentally heard a conversation from the student council president. she said that the best kiss is when your tongue twisted with each other so I want to try it] Shouko wrote on her notepad, which Rai sees and become speechless.

'What the hell are you doing having a conversation in a public place?! Although I am grateful that she was brave enough to take the initiative, that was too early! Shouko purity! Please come back!!' Rai shouted in his mind with all his power. Shouko angelic character is a little bit ruined.

"Shouko, I must say this for now and for your sake. That kiss is supposedly when we were being a couple long enough" Rai said seriously. He just wants to have a pure relationship first but that is ruined by the Uomi-Kaichou.

[O-Ohh... Okay then. but that felt good] Shouko just write with a red face. Rai honestly become so speechless, that his mind actually goes blank in a second. after that blank, he thought,

'For the love of god! My pure angel! that was good for me too, but my angel!!' Rai screamed again in his mind.

Rai just sigh and he put his hand on her hand.

"Shouko, let's have a quick dinner. where do you want to go?" Rai ask since it's going to be dark, he wants to quickly return her to her home. after all he promised that to her family.

Shouko thought for a moment. this is her first dinner with his boyfriend after all. then she wrote where she want. [let's have a fast-food mac. I am craving for it]

Rai is a bit surprised. he thought girls want to have a romantic date where the place is aesthetic.

"Why do you want to go there?" Rai asked her.

[I Just craving for it. plus as your girlfriend now, I just want to have a simple dinner date. I already have enough fancy date... So can we?] Shouko write it on her notepad and show it to Rai.

Rai just thought this girl become a little bold when she wrote the word girlfriend but seeing her face, Rai seeing her actually showing the notepad that she wrote it in with all her will.

As her boyfriend, Rai is obliged to fulfill his girlfriend's wish.

'she wants to have a simple date. although the thought of eating in a parking lot drive-thru in a car with a fast-food is also romantic in a sense'

"Alright then, let's go quickly shall we? I don't want to broke a promise to your family about returning you late" Rai said that while kissing her forehead. Shouko cover her head and nodded with a smile. They quickly return to the parking lot and drove off.

Rai find the Fast-food mac restaurant and they go through a drive-thru. Rai order a Big-mac while Shouko orders a double cheeseburger. after their food is packed, Rai then drives to a highway on their way home and he finds a good rest stop area for them to eat.

Rai and Shouko then eat their food in the car and Rai turning on the Radio. They just silently eating and enjoy the moment. after they're done, Rai then go outside and throw the box package into the trash. then he is back inside the car. they are chatting a bit, then Rai continues to drive. but after 15 minutes in the highway, he suddenly catch a traffic jam.

"Well, it is Sunday so I am not surprised. Shouko, you should sleep first. I woke you up when we're arrived" Rai said. the traffic he predicted is at least just 20 minutes then it's going to be normal again.

Shouko with her hand-sign [No, I am going through with you. It's just traffic. we can talk with our hand-sign if we're bored]

Rai then smiled and start his conversation with his hand-sign.

20 minutes pass by and as Rai predicted, the traffic flow becomes normal again. Rai then drive as he holds her hand. Shouko thought, 'His hand is warmer than I thought. but this feeling somehow making me refresh and healthy. Is it because we're dating?'

That's what Shouko thought. she just feels that this is what love and becoming a couple is. she closed her eyes and just feel Rai warmth. But, the fact that made her feels refresh and healthy is not a fluke. Rai secretly using healing magic to heal her slowly.

'I am not using the noblesse ability to heal her because I have to let some of my blood and seeps into her body. my noblesse ability can instantly heal her, but I want it to do it slowly'

"You're getting healthier is not a fluke, Shouko" Rai said.

"Eh?" She said. she let out her voice this time.

"Can you promise not to tell anyone about it?" Rai asked her seriously.

Shouko then thought Rai must be doing something to make her healthier. She trusts her boyfriend and she wants him to trust her and share the Pain together.

"Yesh!" She answers earnestly.

"Alright" Then Rai told her about his healing ability. He partly lies about his power and he just said He has healing magic and a stronger body than most humans. Rai wants to let it out slowly about his secret and for now, just his healing ability and body will do. then it becomes silent.

after that moment of silence,

[So, you are a human with magic?] Shouko asked on her note. Rai said yes.

"Are you scared of me?" Rai asked worriedly to her. then Shouko quickly answer with her voice. "No!"

then she writes in her notepad [I am not scared of you! In fact, I think I love you even more because you trust me to tell your secret! I just think you are just a man who is more gifted than most people. Rai-kun, You are a wonderful person and I am very thankful that you accept me and love me] as she showed his notepad, her expression exudes happiness.

Rai feels one of the weights on his back is lifted as she tells some of her secrets. He really is lucky to have such a wonderful woman.

"Thank you Shouko. I am the luckiest man alive to have such a wonderful girl as a girlfriend" He said with a smile. They both hold their hand tightly.

they finally arrived at Shouko house and for a moment they chat about something.

[So you are healing my sickness when we're holding hand secretly?] she asked on her notepad.

"Yes. You're going to be cured and You're not going to be deaf and mute anymore. the truth is I can heal you now, but it's just going to make your family a bit suspicious" Rai said. it's even impossible to heal her. then He just said he's going to cure her tomorrow.

Shouko is happy that she was crying while trying to say "Shank you" over and over. she finally can speak normally to her friends and not troubled by it. Rai tells her a plan to lie to her family. although she felt bad, she promised to keep a secret.

after some time, they finally out of the car and her grandma, Yuzuru and Yaeko are waiting at the entrance.

[I am home everyone!] Shouko said. and the Nishimiya said, "Welcome back!" Although Yaeko quietly said that. everyone then notices her happy expression.

"Ara, You're looking so happy today. Is Rai-kun propose to become your girlfriend or something" Her grandma asks. although she just teased her about it Rai answer,

"Actually yes. I propose her, and now Shouko is my girlfriend and future wife" And the Nishimiya becomes shocked. Shouko become red at the last line that he said. after a moment of silent Yuzuru finally said,

"I am not accepting this! It's too fast!" Yuzuru said.

"Maa~ congratulation! Now, why don't you come in and have some of my perilla juice?" Her grandma is very happy. Yaeko just becomes silent.

"Thank you very much grandmother, then don't mind if I do" Rai said.

"Don't ignore me!" Yuzuru said. Rai just pat her head, which Yuzuru though strangely not pushing him away and let him do it.

"Yuzuru-Chan, just get inside first okay. and I want to have a chat with you all about tomorrow" Rai said. well all of them go inside.
