A story about adventures and Gacha

I suddenly awoke with a start. Sweat was dripping down my forehad and back. Frantically my eyes darted to the right and then to the left. As I didn't see the van driving towords me anymore I let out a sigh of relief. Only to freeze up in panic. I looked down and saw the body of a child, correction of a female child.

3rd person pov. In a childs bedroom a ten year old child sat on her bed rammrod straight. Her back and hair were covered in sweat, but she didn't seem to bother. her mouth was hanging slightly open and here eyes were wide as well. She seemed to be in shock and trying to process something that couldn't be real. After about ten minutes her body suddenly slumped and her eyes gradually lost collor. In contrast to that her mouth formed a serene smile and with that same smile she muttered the following words: Hmm, it seems I have been reincarnated after being hit by a truck, how lucky. I wonder, if I blow up this planet and all the people on it, will they all reincarnate as well? I really have to try it out in the future for sience reasons of course. It seems that the girl has abandoned all reason and now wants to blame the world for her misfortune and kill everyone to make herself feel better about her regrettable lot in life. The reason for this is: I am a man damn it! And I already finished college as well and now you want to make me do it all again and as a girl non theless? Fuck you whoever reincarnated me, I wish you stub your toe on the closet every morning and on the bedpost every evening. May your path to the toilet be filled with spiky lego, your showers too hot and your room filled with mosquitoes! This went on for a while longer untill Ding! •divine Treasures that are at a rank beyond the comprehension of mortals. Examples are Items that allow one to become an angle from Torou or true magics like the kalaidoscope with a boosted potency 

•overlord Treasures that are on par with multiverse level entities. Examples are Reality manipulation, manipulation of cause and effect, Origin skills from tensura

Note: anything can be drawn from Gacha, even people. They can be integrated with the help of the two slots provided by the Gacha essence or summoned, in which case they will work for you. Be warned though, while they will always follow your orders and are incapable of harming you, as well as being inable to give out any information to others that aren't you or your summons without your express permission, they have their own personalities and can refuse to cooperate if it isn't an absolute order or intentionally withhold information from you, as well as find loopholes around those restrictions if you don't take their feelings into consideration.

My left ey suddenly twitched. Minds eye, Clairvoyance, structural grasp and analysis, yukihira souma and to top it all off a random weapon from the gate. Does the Gacha want to make me a knock off of Archer Emeya? The only things that are missing are reinforcement and projection and I can call myself an advocate of justice. Seriously though, while those spells are all basic spells every magus should know, every archer has Clairvoyance, and Emeya has the fake version of the minds eye since he wasn't born with it but developed it through battle, all of these things combined makes you wonder if the draws were really random in the first place. Well at least I got some high ranking things out of it. Pulling out a bottle of Cola I focused on the premium gacha

Pffft Cough* Cough* I opened my eyes wide as I saw what I just pulled Tsubame Gaeshi and they put it into the category of rare just because it doesn't have a rank. That shit is legendary at the very least given how dear sasaki almost murdered baber and even succeed in a timeline. Not to mention he is the suposedly strongest character miamoto musachi ever faced. I looked at the jumper body mind package and was left even more stunned. That skill was equally insane if what it promised was true

That was a long fucking text and while it didn't give out any heaven defying power, it had some absolutely insane effects. If I am interpreting this right, it will allow for normal healing spells that work by increasing the regeneration to speed up the regeneration of lost limbs and even if I didn't use any spells, my limbs would still regrow even if only at a very slow speed. Additionally it is the best thing that could happen to a jack of all trades character since they wouldn't ever loose what they trained once allowing for the aquisition of many arts without issue not to mention the immortality and memory buff. With these cheats I was a happy little gremlin feeling like Christmas had come early. I used the Structural grasp and analysis books as well as minds eye true B and clairvoiance C. Suddenly my vision cleared up and I could see hindreds of kilometers into the distance as well as analyse my surroundings with great proficiancy and detail. My thought speed and processing speed also got a mayor boost. Additionally I also learned the theory behind the two spells structural grasp and analysis. I also used the magic circuits and felt my soul growing chanales that connected it to my body. After that I took out the skill orbs for Observation haki B Tsubame Gaeshi and Instinct A. I crushed the one containing the Instinct to test out the changes. Suddenly my senses changed. From my breath to touch, everything became more pronounced, and even my reflexes got a boost, making me feel like a superhuman. I could vaguely sense everything around me through my senses alone. After that I used the observation haki and suddenly I felt like I could pull a switch. Once I did, my senses went into overdrive and I sensed everything around me with a high precision. While Instinct A naturally gave me a vague Idea, it was mostly subconscious, but observation haki brought the Information into overdrive and even enhanced my natural senses. I also felt like now was a good time to use the mind body package, so I did, and as I did, I felt my body going through imperceptible changes altering my very being on a fundamental level, but on a level that couldn't be observed without a microscope. I then used The Tsubame Gaeshi orb and was promptly flodded with memories of training swordsmanship with a clear goal in mind. It was a mission, a task, an obsession and an Ideal all at once. To create a tecnique through pure swordsmanship that could cut down a turning swallow. Coincidentally he the tecnique also happenes to be good at cutting down everything else as it is literally striking three times at the same time by diminishing ones presence and casting an intent that fools the world that the sword has been swung from three different directions at the same time. A tecnique that relies neither on talent nor speed, but pure practice and dedication to reach the pinnacle. A little giddy I pulled out the rapir to try it out, but I immediately felt that that something was off. The blade was shorter and lighter than I was used to and the tip was too light for it to be comfortable. I tried swinging it, but as I wasn't used to the blade and it was my first time even touching a real sword, it didn't work. I tried it a few more times and while I succeed on my fifth try I felt that it wasn't nearly as effective and my swordamanship had taken a toll due to the blade being unfamiliar and it being a one handed sword instead of the two handed one I knew. I went out of the room and contemplated about what to do in order to improve my obvious deficiency with the rapir. As I went, I discovered the bathroom and remembering the pill in my inventory, I went inside and turned on the Shower. Then I opened the window and got inside the sower. I then pulled out the pill and ate it. After a while my body started to feel itchy and my pores opened. Out came a foul smelling black tar that smelled as bad as devil fruits were described to taste. This continued for another half hour in which the tar not only seperated itself from my outer layers of skin, but even my muscles, tendons organs, bones and even eyes as well as connecting layers such as fat. After that I felt much cleaner and my bodies efficiency grew a lot. My skin took in more oxygen, my muscles worked more efficiently, my brain worked better, my bones produced more blood that was better at transporting and healing and I could breathe and see easier and clearer. If this is what all cultivators go through, it is no wonder that they look down on mortals. Even I am a little hesitant to touch normal people now that I know how much filth their bodies contain before eating that pill. While showering I also got the Idea of using the ten years experience cards to boost my proficiency. So I quickly integrated souma in hopes that the card also increased my proficiency of the template and ripped the first one in half. Instantly memories of training in a white room that could conjure anything sprung into my mind. my skills improved, and even my strength got a boost. I pulled out the rapir again and unleashed a variant Tsubame gaeshi I had learned during that time. Suddenly I struck out in a piercing motion only for two other rapirs to pierce from different angles at the same time. Then I performed a normal pierce, that upon closer inspection turned out to be three pierces at the same time and in the same place. It was okita soujis lightless three stage thrust I learned due to our tecniquey being simmilar. My magectaft also improved and I can analyze objects with great detail and little effort now. Suddenly I was interrupted from my very serious testing that wasn't playing around and screaming internally like a kid about how cool magectaft was at all by someone knocking on my window. I turned my head in the direction of the sound only to see an owl holding a letter in its claws. I opened the window and the owl flew inside, dropped the letter and left. Glancing at it, I found out that the sender was a certain professor Minerva McGonagall. and it was sealed with a wax seal. I opened it and read the contents only to find that it was the Hogwarts acceptance letter from a certain book series. That was really strange since from this bodies memories, the world should be marvel, but apparently it is a mixed world containing not only marvel, but also other series like harry potter. And yes I have this bodies memories. Apparently the girls parents died and she is living with her grandpa alone, since his wive also died a while back. Sadly I didn't inherit a fortune though, so my main character background hasn't been followed through to a t. Well that certainly leads to a conundrum since I really don't wanna get involved in the happenings of this world. I originally thought that I would just draw gacha in peace and leave this world quietly one I got the chance since marvel really is only enjoyable, when sitting behind a screen. But now I have been targeted directly by another franchise all together, draging me into the limelight anyways. There isn't even an option to decline, just a notification, that a professor will come to our house to explain the details of the school. Well maybe I can reject them then, but then again it is Hogwarts, the dream school for every child myself included. Who hasn't ever dreamed of getting a letter from that school and learn magic? I really wanna see this school and study the spells there. Even if the education is shit my inner magus will never let it go if I refuse the opportunity to learn all the spells in the library. After all even though the world of Harry potter isn't as crazy as the nasuverse, modern magi would still kill for things like the killing curse, the potion of liquid luck, or divination and teleportation. These things are strait up cheats that belong in the age of gods minus maybe the killing curse depending on how it works, and would get every magus blood to boil in exitement. Hell even rin would probably bully her way into getting the recipe for felix felicis since it would be a direct counter to the infamous Thosaka luck. So naturally I would want it too. I guess it can't be helped. Even though I could obtain these and simmilar things through gacha, I don't know when and this is a literal low risk high reward opportunity for me. And I am not at all saying this because of the quest I just got.

With that it was time to go to bed. 

After that nothing interesting happened. I went to school, went home, ate, did my homework, and went training my swordamanship. And while I can say that I am quite skilled with a rapir, if I am being honesty my real expertise lies in using katanas. After all the Tsubame Gaeshi was originally meant for japanese swordsmanship which involves moovement and cutting techniques instead of piruets and stabbs with one hand. So when it comes to fencing, my skills are naturally non existent. While I can utilize footwork and stabs as well as the moovement on a slash themselves, the philosophy of fencing nad mine don't quite match. While fencing is fighting at a distance, only comming close to stab, japanese swordsmanship only thinks of striking and dodging. It rarely happenes that someone outright blocks a strike and they are more focused on deflecting and countering with a decisive strike. I am really lucky that my rapir is a noble phantasm with stats way above a normal sword, meaning it cuts as well as a katana does, making up for my lack of fencing skills. The only problem is that it is very fethery and not at all rigid like a katana, meaning deflecting is unusual, so I am avoiding it. It really can't be helped, but there is some good news as well at the very least. The template of Yukihira Souma has reached 100% after using the card.For that reason I won't use the second one right away since it may come in handy later. I looked at the skill ubgrade token thoughtfuly. I could ubgrade one of my skills with this. When I saw it first, I almost chose Clairvoyance since it allowes to look into the future or past at higher levels, but refrained from doing so, since at B rank it will only give little insights that may or may not be useful. If I am doing it may as well turn it into an A ranked skill so that I have control over what I see. Eventually I decided to ubgrade the circuits in my body. Now I have A rank quality B rank quantity cirquits, making me just that much stronger in power and output. The reason why I chose those was because of the letter to Hogwarts. The more energy I can use in a day, the faster I can learn the spells they teach. I didn't do it sooner because I was still contemplating. Apparently the token has a limit that it can't ubgrade something to EX rank and beyond so I couldn't pick my Instinct, and my observation Haki could be trained naturally, so for now there wasn't really a reason for me to ubgrade it other than the reason that it can look into the future slightly which my natural instinct already does and consequently my observation haki does too. The problem is just that I haven't really managed to make the effect concious probably because I haven't experienced the phenomenon due to a lack of combat experience. So I naturally came to the conclusion that improving my circuits is the best course of action, but that conclusion was reached by me a while ago. The reason why I was acting now, was because today is the day a member of the Hogwarts staff shows up. I don't know how competent they are, but at least they should be able to notice a sudden increase in my magic power, no? For that reason I decided to do it before they have an idea of my power as to not arouse any suspicious that I maybe used a ritual to become stronger. After an hour more of waiting the door finally rang. My grandpa opened the door, and in came a short man I recognized to be professor Flitwick. He and my grandpa talked for a while untill my grandpa called me down and introduced us. Professor Flitwick asked me wether I wanted to learn magic to which I answered affirmatively, and after that we made our way to diagon alley to buy supplies. First we went to gringots to exchange the money grandpa gave me into galleons, and after that we went to buy the necessary cloths, supplies and books. I also picked out a few extra ones like modern potion making, magical concoctions and the way they interact and the 1001 basic household spells as well as magical beasts and where to find them. The last one was more because I liked the movie and less because I liked magical beasts, but also because they are good potion ingredients and thus it will help me who has decided to strive for the title of master alchemist. After that we went home again and I started reading through the books. My broken constitution came in clutch as with my perfect memory and mental library I absorbed all the knowledge after reading them only once and due to my macic cuircuits I could cast wandlessly without issues. The reason normal wizards need wands is due our difference in physique. They are natural conduits like the humans in fate were in the age of god, meaning they can draw in natural mana as easy as breathing and a little bit always flows through them. In a way you could say that they have a magic circulatory system instead of cirquits which is why wizards blood is so magically conductive. Even though they parted from nature, their magical powers never suffered since Gaia isn't a thing here leading to them not developing cuircuits as a result. But due to their diminished closeness to nature, they became incapable of sensing mana over time leading them to needing tools to draw it out and amplidy it. Wandless casting is in essence just learning to feel and guide mana after casting spells for a long time while wordless casting is a tecnique developed by the community. Overall I would describe their situation to be the dark ages of spellcasting. While they have fucked up big time there is still hope for them to regain their ability to cast spells naturaly without a wand and new tecniques can be developed. As for me, as a magus I am more closely connected to magical energy than nature. I cast soells by converting odd and lifeforce into prana or by converting odd and mana into magical energy. In essence I can either use the mana from the atmosphere, or my own life force of which I don't have a limited amount thanks to my body's construction, and mix it with my spiritual energy to guide and use it. I also am mana conductive as a result of being a wizard which is why I was chosen to become a student in Hogwarts, so I could in theory also use the mana flowing through me, but I am not connected with nature and thus mana has no incentive to follow my will. If I was a monk that meditates on the principles of heaven and earth in my past life my chances would be better, but as it stands I haven't even casted a single spell and as such my body is not at all in sync with the movements of mana. So to sum it up: in order to master the power of mana the hikikomori magus needs to go outside and touch some grass, or cast spells with a wand for around sixty years. The wand itself is a conduit and a focus through which the mana flows and is released. The moovements of the wand are a code through which the mana is being manipulated and molded like handseals in naruto. So while it is possible to go without them you need to understand the essence of the spell first. As for the incantations? The principal is about the same. So in summery western whitchcraft is as complicated and mysterious as ever.
