Pei Zheng felt a surge of heat down his body again.

He turned away from her but walked back to the bathroom to hand her a towel.

The white and slightly coarse towel landed on her, shocking her. She looked up, only to see his back view as he strode and disappeared into the darkness of the suite.

She was stunned for two full seconds before hurriedly wrapping herself in the towel and tiptoeing out of the room like a fugitive.

It was late at night and the hallway was empty and silent.

Only then did Xia Ling realize that it was she who walked into the wrong room. Her room was the adjacent one, but she had taken Pei Ziheng's room card after having had a drop too much. Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she went ahead to push her room door open—only to recall then that her room card was left with Pei Ziheng.
