6 IN CLASS

IN CLASS_They see me as the person who gets straight A's or the quiet loner. They never seemed to be phased by the way I could draw the lines with my silence. The teacher would talk and try to teach us lessons, but life didn't seem to reach the idea of people being taught if it didn't do it, itself. Among the students I would look at my right, only to be met by your brown eyes. And you weren't even paying attention to the lectures that came out violently from the teacher. You were too focused on the way I tried to hush my thoughts.

I knew time was passing - our hearts were in sync for the short moment, but you were still looking peering over at us; wondering why you chose to look at me instead of there .This time; it felt like my heart was racing time and it was already winning.
