Chapter 2: Josh meeting the twins

Victorio and Josh decided to walk around the forest for a while after they met. They've been talking about random stuff along the way. Victorio showed Josh a few things that he can do with his necklace,and Vic observed that Josh is a fast learner. He taught Josh how to turn a rock into a diamond,a stick into a rope,and water into acid. 'WOOSH!' water suddenly splashed on the two and they were pushed in the nearby river. Josh swam to the top,taking in some air then looking for Victorio. "Victorio!" He shouted,waving both hands side to side. He shouted and shouted until he finally saw Victorio's body unconciously floating with his face in the river. He swam to the body and took both of them on land. "Victorio! Wake up!" he shook Victorio's body,even slapped him a few times,but Victorio wouldn't wake up. Suddenly,he saw one of the big rocks near the river move. He looked at it and saw it stomping toward them. "V-Victorio! Wake up! C'mon!" He shook Victorio's body while looking at the monster. He dragged Victorio's body near the tree and stood in front of him. "S-Stop right there!" Josh shouted,raising his hand signalling a stop. He looked at the direction of the monster. Then he saw a pair of amber eyes staring at him. He shaked his head and looked again. He disappeared. He noticed the monster stomping on his way. The monster stopped and looked at Josh. Due to the monster's largeness,he looked intimidating. Panick slowly filled Josh's mind. He took the ring from his pocket and put it on. The monster continued to walk it's way to Josh and Victorio. Hurrily,Josh made acid from the water in the river. Making the acid float,he covered the monster's head with it. It made the monster let out a wail from the slight pain. The monster walked faster towards the two,his eyes turning red. "HOW DARE YOU DO THAT!" shouted the monster. "YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!" The monster carried the boulder beside him and threw it at Josh. Josh closed his eyes and covered his face. He can hear the boulder swooshing in his way. Until,nothing touched him. He slowly but cautiously opened his eyes. He saw two figures standing in front of him. "W-Who are you?" Josh asked. "I'm Eliza and she's Wendy!" The girl on the right said who Josh assumed was Eliza. "We're twins." Wendy said in a monotone voice. Eliza then jumped up and swinged her umbrella on the monster,cutting it in half. Wendy then jumped up following her sister and used her hammer to break the monster in tiny pieces. "J-Josh?" Josh turned around and met eyes with Victorio. "V-Vic!" Josh ran up to Victorio and hugged him. "I thought you were a dead man!" Josh said after pulling away from Vic. "He can't die just by drowning." Wendy said,dropping down. Eliza landed next to Wendy. "I don't know why you didn't use magic to not drown though.." Eliza put her hand on her chin,tapping on it with her index finger. "I was going to use magic as soon as I saw the water coming in our way, but I couldn't." Victorio said. Josh suddenly thought of the man. Victorio snapped her finger infront of Josh. "You there?" Josh only nodded at Victorio's question. "Wait,do you guys know each other?" Josh looked at the twins and then to Vic. "Unfortunately, yes." Victorio pushed his glasses up. "We're his twin sisters." Wendy and Eliza said. Josh had sparkles in his eyes as he looked at Victorio.
