8 Clusters

Soon, knocking away competitors, he got the lead.

But along the way, he saw a cluster, he was quite mystified as he only saw that the only entities able to live here was his kind, who knew there were others.

He called it cluster because it looked like a cluster of small circles forming what shaped out to be a y.

But what he saw next dumbfounded him. He stopped in his tracks once he saw the clusters and some got ahead of him, those who got ahead encountered the cluster, but they ignored and still moved forth.

Suddenly the clusters blocked their path, and had contact with them, he saw his kind die, and he was instantly felt cold shivers. It was good he didn't go first and tested the waters.

But his kind were far too stupid, they ignored danger and still continued. They met with the clusters and met the same end.

Good thing for him and his kind, there were only a few clusters.
