21 21. Great One

Location- Solar System

[Third POV]

'Oh, what is this?.', though Caelicetus, he took another bite out of what little remained of SpaceGodzilla. 

It has been some time since he made Godzilla trip in midair by inverting gravity around one of his feet and the fall, in front of the whole world.

He remembered the smugness that oozed off the radioactive lizard before he absolutely ruined the other Alpha moment. The King of the Monsters must have already become a joke on the Internet. Caelicetus will also partake in it while at it he will as his 'God' persona, to ask useless but phylosophical questions to the humans such as; Can one know that one knows nothing?

His four eyes were transfixed on what looked like a beluga in general body shape that let out a sky blue light behind its tail and flippers. He was confused before his whole body flared up with excitement.

The space whale swam in the direction of the strange beluga, Caelicetus instinctively emitted low repeated clicks traversing through the gravitons. A barely audible click came back in response.

Caelicetus made a portal in front of the beluga who swam right through it, effectively moving it in front of him. He looked at it, it seemed it was extremely old at least it looked old, and on the border of decaying it was small compared to him, he reckoned it should be ten average human males in length. Also, it was a she.

The young whale asked with immense curiosity, his eyes shining, "What are you?"

"It's an honor that I can greet the young Great One and last of the Greats One. I'm of the last astrodelphii, we are one of the numerous races shaped and brought to life by the Greats One, to serve the Greats One.", the old astrodelphis explained with respect, its voice was feminine voice was aged, and full of reverence, respect, and for him and his species. 

She seemed immensely relieved, he could instinctively tell that by the subtle variation in her expression through her fins, flipper, beak, the weak heartbeat of her used heart, and overall body language. Very different from a human, as it should be.

"Hmmm continue.", Caelicetus requested, he detected no falsehood in the astrodelphis words. He also felt a connection, very much one-sided with him in control. He still took everything with a grain of salt.

Though, it confirmed that he was alone, expected but unpleasant news nonetheless. If she was right, she might think it was the truth. Spoiler, she was right. And he was still surprised by the presence of the space beluga, he didn't expect to meet something like this when he jumped to the Kuiper Belt. 

Then she made the equivalent of a deep bow, she waited for the Great One words and took the queue of the silent Caelicetus, she spoke, "I have long since forgotten my name but never my purpose given to me by, I demand parson in advance for my bluntness, your deceased Mother, Lady Terracetus and Miss Io, her friend as far as I know.

She is currently still in comatose on the biggest moon of the last gaseous planet of your Mother Solar System, no, your Solar System. Where I and my pod were hibernating until your Alpha Call woke the last one of us still alive. And I'm the only one that made it that far.", she said with great sadness in her voice.

'So this is my mom's name… so this was her Solar System. Did she help or create life on Earth? Or the planet name and here are just a coincidence, probably not. Hmm, maybe I should also rename Mars since it's my planet and the name given by humans to it may not be adequate anymore.', the whale pondered, knowingly brushing off the fact that it also meant that most lifeforms on her Earth are technical if we look from afar, his distant 'brothers' and 'sisters'.

This also means that he is the 'owner' of the Solar System by the space beluga words, well that's certainly nice and all but he believed it wouldn't be that easy. 

For Godzilla being Alpha of Earth, the space whale will take the position but not by winning in a fight that would be too simple, because boom Godzilla is now a second Moon, and he will make the old radioactive lizard abdicate with his methods.

Now he also didn't know who this 'Io' was and didn't care at the moment, she was a stranger, though from what the nameless astrodelphis told she should be on Triton, the biggest of Neptune's 14 natural satellites. He will see when he wants to.

His brief thought about everything she just said was finished and he noticed that her left flippers were starting to become dark energy, making them progressively disappear, the astrodelphis noticed his gaze and self-deprecating click.

"Oh, this is nothing but the consequences of playing too much with the forbidden; time. Especially going into the future, the reverse ends with the destruction of the timeline and this one is unique. Thanks to Miss Io's aura we could have survived this long, anyways my life is not important. My time is counted.", the old astrodelphis said casually, visibly resigned to her fate, even if she was going through an unimaginable amount of pain.

She swam closer to Caelicetus, but the latter didn't stop her. He was studying how her body, mind, and soul were slowly growing into the energy responsible for expanding the Universe; he felt pity for her. He wanted to help her but he was powerless in this situation, so he didn't and took advantage of this by studying what was happening.

Her forehead/melon touched the area between his two sets of eyes, he felt a tendril going through his overly protected mind, he let it pass. He closed his eyes as the warm flux of information started to trickle down his three brains.

It was about how to shape the blue energy he emitted and pulsed, it was just like he hypothesized but more, it was life forces in its purest form, extremely chaotic and extremely dangerous for most life forms. 

Its effect depended on the Great One or astrocetus his real species's name but they all had in common that they stimulated living beings to mutate, exponentially so. And also creating life if certain conditions are met.

This is a very powerful ability, but it is uncontrollable. This is why for billions of years some of the astrocetus dabbled in it and took more and more control of it, passing this knowledge from generation to generation. 

With this, they created the astrodelphis, a species in their image, at least sporting some of their traits, and many more, not all of them were a 'success' in the space whales' eyes though. 

"Sorry I can't… anymore… I…failure…", the nameless astrodelphis became one with the universe, disappearing forever but just before dying she gave the message Caelicetus's Mother left.

In reality, the whole event took multiple hours, the old astrodelphis was no more than half of a disappearing head before she was no more.

The message was simple in words but contained dozen of emotions at the same time, it contained a seemingly endless amount of love for him, immense sadness for not being with him, intense shame for being a horrible Mother, and pure hate for something else at the same.

"I love you Caelicetus. Be wary of the Great Void."
