Side tracked on the way to Infinite Power

It's been a few months since I left earth, I've been improving my skills and am now going to unlock more of the power of my Saiyan biology. I'm currently visualizing my genome and attempting to remove at least two genetic limiters. It is way harder than the first time and I'm sweating in concentration. After 20 minutes of extreme focus and concentration, I am able to do it. My power level skyrockets and my body feels light as air. My senses increase to extraordinary levels and it feels like a fog has been lifted over my mind. I check my status screen.

Nice. After finishing up my training, I capsule my ship and begin flying as fast as I could in the direction where the Super Dragonball radar is pointing to the nearest ball. After a few days of flying, I burst into Super Saiyan, contemplating my idiocy at not doing that sooner. It takes a few more days but I arrive at a barren, rocky planet. I throw a strong Big bang Attack at the Dragonball to shake off its dust and salivate at the thought of its power. I snap out of my daze and begin to absorb it into my personal pocket dimension.

After waiting in boredom for it to finish I look at my radar and see there are about 2 more Dragonballs in this universe. As I make my way to the other Dragonballs I see a commotion over at a nearby planet, there appear to be many explosions and flashing lights. I sense several tens of thousands of above-average power levels duking it out, I even sense a few Humongous power levels that far outclass even my Super Saiyan power. I became immediately worried. Wasn't I now the strongest in the universe next to the gods?

I take this as a sign to improve my power and remove as many genetic limiters as I could and maybe go into higher levels of Super Saiyan. In a few hours, I am able to remove three, drastically improving my power and Super Saiyan multiplier. I could still go a bit higher but I need to wait for my body to acclimate to the changes. I feel my S-cells but see that even with my wish for Porunga to speed up their production, I still don't have enough for the second level.

Feeling properly prepared, my blood boils in excitement at the prospect of a good fight. I fly down to the planet and investigate. As I fly around the planet I actually see the Super Dragonball behind it in the distance. I decided I would go grab it later and enter the atmosphere. I move closer to where the highest density of power is coming from and see a massive arena and stadium complex.

I land in the stands next to a few guys and see many fights playing out over massive screens. The fights on the screens are intense and exciting. Fighters going all out, using every last bit of wit and cunning in their strategies. Going until the point of collapse with bruises and blood lining their bodies. The fans cheering on. It was AWESOME!!!

I watched on in joy at all the fights going on. Then the screens went dark after the last fight finished and switched on again. What I think to be the game master or announcer appears on the screen.

"Hello, audience members! Battle World Mania now brings you the main event!" he says excitedly.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome our new challenger for the champ's belt, ROSA! hailing from the Planet Malchior 7, where the trees are 300 feet tall and breathe FIRE!" the Announcer exclaims. A decrepit looking Beatle man with a humanoid face walks out, raising his hands to the applause of the audience and the blaring introductory music. From what I could tell he had a respectable battle power of at most 90-100 million.

"Now reintroducing, the Baron of Berserk, the man, the myth, the legend, The raining World Champion, Argle The Cruel!" he calls out in a deeper, menacing tone. The music that plays is even more menacing and includes pyrotechnics and smoke. Argle was a 7 foot tall giant with grey skin, a mean face, and a mountain of muscle with little clothes on. From what I could tell Argle was 4-5 times stronger than my previous Super Saiyan form.

Their fight began soon after. They began exchanging blows. Argle dodged and deflected all of Rosa's blows with ease, unlike cooler, Argle was incredibly skilled in martial arts. After a few minutes of back and forth with Rosa, Argle stops holding back and began giving Rosa the beating of a lifetime. By the end of it, Rosa was just a pitiful lump of flesh, shivering in agony. I thought the fight would end soon after but Argle began to mercilessly torture Rosa to death. His title of The Cruel was well deserved.

As the Announcer was going to declare Argle's victory, Argle stopped him and put out a proposition.

"Anyone who defeats me in a fight gets 100,000 purple imperial coins!" he spouted Arrogantly. Everyone gawked at him in sheer shock. Judging by their expressions, that's probably a lot of money. A few hundred reasonably strong guys including myself self sign up. No way am I going to miss a fight with a dude as strong as this.
