23 The Four Guardians

I looked at my mother and Alicia after Alicia had calmed down. Then I explained it all. What had happened and how I met the girls from before.

"You see, when I fell into a coma I was brought into a different world. I always wondered why I could remembered everything since my birth in that world. And now I know why. It seems as if my memories had... been sealed somehow..." Then I explained the rest of the events which happened.

For example the event where I lost Ronald and the time where I met Sasha, Maria, Lucia, and Rudeus. And I also talked about Luciel and about how he destroyed my village and killed and tortured me. Then I talked about how I met Lyra.

But then I suddenly said, "...but I don't know that black haired woman called Eliza. I have never met or seen her before."

Alicia and my mother were in complete shock at this moment because of what I had told them. They were probably confused as to how all of this even happened in the first place and why. And the more the both of them tried to understand the less they could.

So I opened my mouth again. "Mother, Alicia, I will go back to that world. I am not finished there yet. " Determination appeared in my eyes as I looked at my mother and my best friend since childhood.

The memories of this world and that world are one. We are both the same person and are not different. After all, we were always the same "soul". But it was not those thoughts which made me go back. It was all the people I needed to help and I also needed to clarify some of my feelings.

After some hesitation and some deep breaths Alicia asked, "But how will you go back without a way to make a portal?"

Then I smiled. "Who said I couldn't?" The boy then snapped his finger and a black void appeared which was seemingly not hard at all to make. And in a moment it kind of looked like he was staring towards you.

The boy smiled and began walking into the black void. And while he was walking further and further into the abyss, eventually they couldn't see him anymore.

Around a table in an unknown location four powerful beings were gathered.

One of the beings was a green haired fellow who had completely white clothes on his body. The fellow had a gentle and calm aura to him that seemed to relax everyone around him.

To the right of him sat a man with red hair and eyes which were so black that the abyss couldn't even compare to it. He wore a red and black robe on his body and he emitted a kind of intenseness which wasn't normal at all.

And to the left of the green haired fellow was a woman with white hair and seemingly pure white eyes. She in contrast to the man with the intense air around him had a white and blue robe on.

And lastly but not least, opposite of the green haired fellow was sitting a young looking man with a bored look in his eyes. He was wearing casual clothes of a normal peasant and was seemingly not interested in what everyone were thinking.

Then the green haired fellow clapped his hands together with a smile. "Good! Now let us start the meeting about the new world."

The red haired man immediately slammed his fist down onto the table and exclaimed, "MINE!!!"

The woman's expression became ice cold and the young man chuckled a little while the green haired fellow just smiled gently in response. But in the woman's eyes there was surprisingly a little bit of disgust for the red haired male.

Suddenly the woman said, "And why is that your decision, Satan?" Although the woman had kind expression on her face, she was speaking with an ice cold tone towards Satan.

"Why are you meddling in this Gabriella!? Your god is just a machine! An entity which doesn't even have thoughts! We all already know that you are the one controlling the angels." Satan looked at Gabriella with narrowed eyes. Then he looked at the green haired fellow, "And you, Ygg, why are you calling us together when you are obviously the third weakest behind me and and Gabriella?"

"You see, Satan, I thought we could split up the new world instead. It could be an experimental place where all species could be and would be welcomed. I want to see what would happen if we brought all of our species together and let them have their fun." Ygg said with a slight smile on his face as if he was scheming something. And then he turned to the young man. "And that is why I nominate Jack, the guardian of the mortal realm, to decide how many people we can nominate to be the guardian of the new world."

Jack looked up and stared at Ygg with a surprised look. "So that is why you called me here, Ygg? To be the judge?"

Ygg nodded. "That is correct. As the one who communicates with all of our worlds equally, you should be the judge because us three are naturally biased." Ygg looked gently at Jack but the smile was somehow… cold.

Jack smiled at Ygg's expression. "Then how do you know that I won't choose a human representative?"

And suddenly Ygg laughed. Then he looked even more gently at Jack, like he was pitying him, "Because that would be too boring, right?"
