6 Awake And Alive

I woke up and felt my body was going up and down continuously. I looked around and saw that I was in a horse carriage. Beside me I felt something warm and when I turned to look I saw Sasha. Her face was facing mine and we were only inches apart.

Then her eyes opened. "Kalum!" Immediately she hugged me and began rolling around in the carriage while I was in her arms.

I began trying to push her arms away but she was surprisingly strong. But that is to be expected since she was a royal knight. So I said, "Sasha, I am alright. There is no need to worry."

Then she pulled me even closer which made me blush. "Kalum, I, I was so worried that you were hurt."

With a sigh I let her hug me for a period of time. At least until the carriage stopped and Maria came over to check on us and saw me completely white in Sashas embrace.

Then I muttered, "Please, please help me..." But then she just walked away like she hadn't seen anything at all.

And there I was, laying for hours until Sasha finally stopped crying. "Kalum, thank you for what you did. I, I was so scared and I didnt know what to do. So, thank you so much." She said and hugged me one last time before she stood up.

I raised my body and stood up. Then I looked her in the eyes. "Sasha, dont worry about it. Oh yeah, what happened after I passed out?" I asked her since I was kind of curious.

"Well, Luciel was expelled from Samuels teachings. Surprisingly, the emperor was alright with it. I don't know why though." She said with a tone of surprise. "Oh yeah, we already passed your village while you were passed out. I am sorry." Her head then looked sorrowfully down onto the floor.

At her words I was surprised. But then I sighed. "It is fine. I will probably sooner or later say hello to her anyway."

"Her?" Sasha asked while her body was shaking a little and her face became darker.

"Yeah. My friend who died in the war's, Roland's, wife Julia lives in the village. I wanted to pray for him because I am his and her friend."

"Oh, I see. Then it is fine." She said with an approving expression. Then her expression suddenly changed. "Oh yeah. I completely forgot. We have actually just arrived at the Samuel's home." Sasha said and then she walked hurriedly out of the carriage while her face was completely red. She then said, "Stupid. Why did I have to tell him that? I could have hugged him for at least three more hours."

When I walked out of the carriage after having cried a little I saw so many things my brain probably couldn't even process it. We were in a forest with a tower right in front of me which just shot right up into the sky. There were these glowing things flying around. And when I concentrate I could sense that they had small human like bodies with wings like a fly but you can't see their bodies because they are made out of energy. I can also sense other beings farther out into the forest and not only that, this place is filled with energy.

What is this place? It feels so full of life and energy that it almost makes me a but scared. What if the energy becomes chaotic? That would be really bad. There are also many other factors like the human like flies who are around. What are they?

Then I heard Sasha yell, "Come on Kalum. It is time to go inside. Samuel has a message for us."

I walked into the tower and there I saw Maria, Rudeus, Lucia, and Sasha with Samuel standing in front of them. I walked over and stood beside them.

"Alright. Since you all are here now and you all have now entered the 1st stage, we will now be practising magic, trying to become a higher levelled magician, and lastly to understand magic as a whole. This tower has 20 floors. 10 down. 10 up. on the 13th floor and currently the 3rd floor up from here is the library. And right now we are on the 11th floor. You are permitted to be on floor 8 to floor 13. You can't be on any other floors. That is all." Then Samuel walked over to this box with a crystal in it and then he said, "Go to the 20th floor." Then the box began raising itself up.

Then I heard Lucia say, "Amazing..."
