Anna's POV:

After he asked that am I hurt, I feel like I want to share with him my terrible memory in my past life which leads me to scare about needles. So I broke the silence and started to share my bad memory by looking at the pond.

Anna: When I was three years old, my father died, he is an Army general, and I hardly remember him. Later, my mom took the responsibility to raise me up. We don't have sufficient money to have food but my mom, she never let me know about that, but I remember those days, she feeds me with the leftover food and sleeps without having food.

(Tears started to roll down from my eyes when I am visualizing that bad past. I take a deep sobbing, but still staring at the pond and continued to tell my story.)

Anna: Later she joined me in the hostel when I turned to 5 years, where they will accommodate food and education for free. I feel alone in the hostel; I don't know why mom left me; I thought she would come in the evening and take me with her to my home, but she didn't come, it's been two days she didn't come yet.

(Tears are overflowing from my eyes.)

On the 3rd day night, after I slept, one hand makes me wake up. I can't recognize him in the darkroom. There is no light in that hall where I slept; Eleven more children are sleeping in the same hall

Anna: From that day, I got scared of darkness and deadly scared of needles...

(I continued my sobbing)..

Anna: Ria is my first friend, she said she would take care of me but why she left me alone, Mark?

Why she again through me in that nightmare?

(I said in between my crying.)

Mark pov:

Tears are rolling down from my eyes after I listened to Anna. I just grab her to my chest and make my grip tight on her waist that she is safe with me..

I raise her face with my left hand to look at me, she closed her eyes, and her face is full of wet with tears, her face becomes red, and her eyes are swollen more..

I raise her head a little more and bend forward and kissed her on her forehead..

She opened her eyes and looked at me with her shocked expression.

Mark: "You will be safe with me, and I will be with you."

Tears roll down from my eyes when I made a promise to her.
