29 Peck on my fingers

Mark's Pov:

After I reached my room, I take a steam bath to get relax but my thoughts are still struck at the conversation between Anna and me in the car. Suddenly, I got a flash about John on the bike. So I immediately take my phone and called to Tom to inform him about the bike number. The moment he lifts my call he is breathing heavily.

Mark: Hey, Tom, are you ok?

Tom: Yeah, Why did you call?

Mark: Note the bike number I need details and the traveling history of the bike.

Tom: ok, I will give you it by tomorrow morning.

(In between of our conversation, I hear "Hey Mark" and its Mona's voice, she also breathing heavily.)

Mona: Is that Mona?

Tom: Hmm.

(He expresses his grin.)

Mark: Is she ok?

Tom: She is safe, Mark, Don't worry, I am personally taking care of her..!!!

(He cut the call, I think they are in an intimacy session. I finish my bath and went to my room to dress up. I wear a short, meanwhile, the door was knocked. I checked who it is, It's Anna..

I just want to grab her to my room, and I want to make her breathless with my kiss..

Then she turned around and said Gen has visited, I said ok; she went in a hurry..

After she left, I smile to myself by looking at her shyness and wore t-shirts and took my laptop, went to the hallway to meet Gen.

Genie is sitting on the couch and she bought some files for checking, and I am reviewing the data..

Genie: Hey Mark, I think you got an invitation to our school buddy?

Mark: Yeah..!!!

Genie: The party theme is coupled.

Mark: I know...

(I avoid her glare and looking into my laptop and continuing the work. Actually, Genie is junior to me in our school, she dated many boys in our school days. I think she lost her virginity at school itself. Because most of the boys will break up only after they enjoyed the girl, I mean after they satisfied in full they will break up.)

Genie: Will you be my partner for tomorrow's evening event?

Mark: Sorry Genie, I found one..

Genie: Who's that..

Mark: You can see her at the party..

(I don't want her to know that it's Anna because she may humiliate her. Meanwhile, Mona entered the hallway. Her face was red, maybe because of the make-out session she had with Tom..)

Mark: Hey Mona..,

Mona: Hi Mark..!!!

Hi Gen..

I forget to give Anna's shopping covers, here you go.

(She placed them on the couch.)

Gen: Anna?

Mona: Yes, she is the partner for our handsome..

(she winked at me, Shit..! Shit..!! Why should she tell Anna's name?

I didn't respond to anything and looking into my laptop.)

Gen: Great..!!! I guess she didn't have party wear?

Maybe she will attend the party with her loose t-shirt to insult Mark's status.

(I looked at Mona with a grin. How much damage she did?)

Mona: Hey, we bought one, and It's stunning on her, and I will show you..

(She take the dress from the bag and Genie is not taking her eyes off from the dress.)

Mona: It's 2.2 Million.

Mark: Mona, we are in a business meeting, later you can discuss about the price tags...

(I stressed her to don't extend the topic. She understands what I mean and kept the dress into the cover and went in silently. But the moment she entered the dining hall I heard her wishes to Anna.)

Mona: Hi Anna..!!!

(Anna? Does she in the dining hall? I stand and say to Gen that I will be right back in a few minutes and went to the dining room to see Anna.)

Genie's Pov:

What the hell is going on..?

2.2 Million? Does she is planning to grab Mark and his entire wealth?

No, I won't let that happen.

Mark is mine. That's the reason I convinced my dad and took his position to get close to Mark..

Why Mark choose Anna instead of me?

I will see how their date will go in tomorrow's party, I looked at the dress which is out of the cover a bit. I take a pocket knife from my bag and went near to the dress to spoil it. I tried to cut the strip and when it is about to cut, suddenly, I hear Mark's voice.

Mark: What's that, Gen?

I suddenly turned with a smile on my face and pretend nothing happened and fold my knife silently and keep it in my pocket and said, "I am leaving Mark, I will meet you at the party."

Mark: ok, Bye...

Mark's Pov:

When I went to the dining table to check on Anna, she is having dinner and busy in talking to Mona. I act casual and drank some water. Then I notice a strawberry in Anna's hand, and she is about to keep it into her mouth.)

Mark: Hey, strawberry..!!!

I looked at Nanny and move towards Anna and said, "Nanny, you made strawberry dessert for me?"

Nanny: Yes beta, You can have it in your dinner...

Mark: I can't wait till then, Nanny...

(I went close towards Anna's hand near to her lips and bite half strawberry which is about to bite by her. I didn't touch her lips, but I was very close to her lips and I sense her breathing when I am biting strawberry. I don't want to embarrass her in front of Nanny and Mona, so I left her lips.

Anna is in shock at my sudden action and sits like a statue in the same position and thinking about what just happened. She looked at me with a little embarrassment and raise her hand for the other half strawberry and Offer me to eat.

I don't even think for a second and bend and grab the second half strawberry, while I am having it I intentionally peck Anna's finger and act like accidentally.

I smile to myself and came back to the hallway casually, after Gen went, I took my laptop and went to my room, and came back for dinner.

Anna,s Pov:

Nanny called me to have dinner. I came to the dining room and having dinner. Meanwhile, Mona visited and she wished me and informed me that she bought the shopping covers, and she stares at the strawberry in my hand and screamed, "Hey, this is strawberry dessert, right? I love this so much.."

And she came near to me and ate the entire strawberry in my hand. I smiled and offered her.

Anna: "let's have some, Mona..."

Mona: Mark will definitely kill me if I eat his strawberry dessert. You know Anna in our childhood days, Mark will do whatever we say just because of strawberries.

(We both laugh to each other by visualizing Mark. I take another strawberry and thinking about how childish his behavior is. Meanwhile, Mark entered into the dining room to have some water.

He is excited when he looked at the dessert, in just a fraction of a second, he came near to me and ate the strawberry in my hand, I feel like he may bite my lips. I stare at him in confusion and he is enjoying the strawberry.

I got a flash of his childhood behavior that Mona just told before and smile to myself and offered the remaining strawberry to him. he didn't think for a second and grabbed it from my hand with his mouth, and he pecks me on my fingers intensely.

I am shocked and my heartbeat raised for his actions.

Is this accidental or intentional?

But Mark acts casual and went to the hallway. Mona interrupted me, and we both chit chat for a few minutes, and she left...

Meanwhile, Mark joined me for dinner and we both are eating silently. I break the silence.

Anna: Mark..?

Where is my mom?

(Tears filled my eyes when I am asking him about my mom.)

Mark: She is dead, Anna...

Anna: I know that, is she still at the mortuary?

(tears rolled from her eyes)

Mark: No, we are done with her rituals...

Anna: Can you please take me to her grave once...

(I asked him with my shivering tone)

Mark: Definitely, but after you settled your mind...

I nodded my head as ok and left the dining table without finishing my dinner and went to my room by hiding my tears from him.
