18 Did you fall for her?

Mark POV:

After I checked on Anna, I went to my room and continued my office work...

I got a call from Genie, my P.A., and I pick up the call..

Genie: Hey, Mark, I am outside of your house, call your security to allow me.

(Because of Anna's security, I warn my guard not to allow any person unless my permission. I call my security to let her in, and I again came near to the dining table to check Anna that she came for lunch or not. She is not there.

Meanwhile, in the hallway, I saw Gen is coming, she hugged and wished me..

Genie: Hi, Mark, without you, the work is tedious, and you don't know how much I am missing you.

When will you be back to the office?

Mark: I will come soon, I have some issues to sort out until then I will manage from home. Come, let's sit here..

(I showed her the dining table to discuss the office matters.)

Genie: Here?

Why not your office room or bedroom at least?

We will have some privacy over there.

(I had one office room in my house too.)

Mark: I need some fresh air, Gen, I am always struck in that room. So change of place will make me feel better, and coming to the point of privacy, here no one is there, so this place is well sufficient...

(Actually, I chose the dining table because to know about Anna. If she come to have lunch, I can see her and get relief by looking at her. I take the seat where Anna sits in the morning during breakfast.)

(There are almost seven contacts, I started studying and involved in the work, and I told her to change some points. Meanwhile, Nanny gave coffee to both of us, and she left to the outhouse to take some rest.

Mark: it's none of your business, Gen, and I told you to bring your size because I like loose shirts on her. She is pretty, and she is not like you, and yes, she doesn't have your size, but I am sure her size is perfect, which is an ideal need to impress a man...

(I actually told about loose shirts because Mona said not to use tight garments on Anna, and I personally like when she is on loose garments because she looks super cute on those loose garments.)

Genie: Did you see them?

(I understand she asked me about her boobs.)

Mark: Yes..

(I told her a lie. Actually, I didn't see her boobs clearly. When I saw her beauty mole, she is on Bra, but I saw her boobs curve, and I rather sense them more while hugging..

I told a lie to Gen because she doesn't dare to disturb Anna again if she knows that I am taking care of her, The moment she listened to me Genie's face turn to black.)

Genie: Great..!!!

(She said with her furious tone but I don't care, we finished our work in 15 min. Actually, I am hurried to meet Anna because she didn't even look at me and went to the garden area by holding a coffee mug. After I send off to Genie by giving her some office work, I lead towards the garden side to check on Anna. It's been 30 min, and she still sits near the pond..

Actually, the pond area is my favourite place in this house, I used to sit there with my Mom. After she passed away, I didn't go to that place more often because I may feel depressed. But when I feel lonely, I will go and sit there.

Now Anna sits in the same place where I usually sit and leaning her face on her knees and observing the pond with deep thoughts in her mind.

Why she selects the same place that I like the most?

I strolled towards her.

Actually, I don't like to console anybody, particularly girls, I never fall for them and never try to console or apologize to them, maybe it's my ego, but this girl is changing my attitude towards her...

How can she do that?

I went near to her; she didn't even feel my presence. I sit next to her (left side of her) and the pond is on the right side of her, and she is still staring at the pond..

I ask her, "Are you Hurt?"

I used that phrase that she may connect to injection or my teasing or Gen's words...

She lifts her head to look at me.

I just turned to the other side, not because to show off this time, Just because I can't see through her swollen eyes..

It may get tears in my eyes if I look at her swollen eyes.

Why my eyes are becoming wet?

I try to control my emotions; she again turns her face towards the pond-side..

She didn't respond to me, and we both didn't talk about anything for 2-3 minutes, we both are driving in our own thoughts..

After a few minutes, she breaks the silence..
