Alec was turning 14 today. He was in a good mood. He was going rafting tomorrow with his dad and him being a middle schooler didn't have to worry much about grades. He just beat the final boss of Dungreed ch 2 with 5 ages and max level and beat the first two trials before rage quitting on the third one. he was going outside for the first time since his covid vaccine two weeks ago on a walk because it was his birthday and his previously mentioned good mood.

While walking down the path he looked at the lake that was close by. He was listening to music through his earphones so he couldn't hear the car approaching from behind him. it hit him from behind at 60 miles per hour and he flew forward, somehow alive because of the backpack with wood he had on for absolutely no reason. The backpack somehow fell off halfway so he has still propelled forward. he, somehow without broken bones ended up going straight into the deep of the lake.

His adrenalin-addled mind somehow made him want to touch the necklace that appeared in front of him like an alien experience.it looked like a sword with a chain tied through it. the sword was going a light blue.

after he touched this necklace a hologram appeared in front of him.

Alec with evident shock on his face read what was on the hologram. With his eyes somehow not in pain from the water that was supposed to be touching them it read.
