21 Chapter 21: Escape?

It was still early in the morning but oddly one of the towering skyscrapers was energetic as if it was the busiest time of a day. Various shuttles were surrounding the top floor of the building as if they were shooting a movie and stuntmen in black suits were ejecting from the shuttles towards the fibre walls. Subsequently heading towards the top floor.

Derrick was still in his penthouse staring at the currently deforming Lucia. He had realised with Athena that Lucia in front of him now and the time he was in Gutenberg was just a clone which answered the unstable personality. Lucia back at the lab hadn't even shown her ability even though she was already a Lifeguard and during the fight Derricks thoughts had been far less rational, since the pain had affected his thoughts, moreover, he only wanted to survive from the sadistic bitch. But what concerned him the most now was his situation and not Lucias or his past errors. He accepted himself as a mere brainless puppet who was being tracked the whole time like a fool.

His bedroom walls shattered revealing the shuttles and approaching black suits inside his room. It was a dire situation while at the same time he had no possible means to escape and Athena might be his only remaining lifeline.

Seeing him gradually being surrounded he was incredibly calm and not even a hint of panic appeared on his expression. With the recent integration of Athena, his brain was as powerful as the A.I. His brain was working at full throttle searching for means of survival but in his current scenario, he was still helpless even with the assistance of Athena. None the less, his body felt invincible despite its weakened state, the awakening had consumed every ounce of energy in his body which had also made him extremely hungry. He wanted to escape but he still lacked energy and even if he had enough energy he would be caught instantly with several battle shuttles pursuing him. And right at this moment, Derrick revealed a smirk as if finding a solution which was a reaction unsuitable to his current situation.

"Derrick was it? How cute we did meet again. My clone ability was a surprise, wasn't it?" It was the genuine Lucia leading the squad surrounding Derrick. She slowly walked towards Derrick until her busty figure was almost touching Derrick and he could see through her cleavage only a layer of tight black Jumpsuit was covering her luscious body without any innerwear beneath them.

Unlike with the clone, Derrick was aroused after her body had rubbed against his. She was more daring then Derrick could even imagine and it was in front of her underlings. He was all smiles admiring her body before turning his attention to her face. It was as if he was happy watching her actions.

"We are the black squad of the lifeguard. Do you mind surrendering without any form of resistance? .....I might at least be able to make you my personal toy." her head was near Derrick's ears only whispering the later half of her statement.

Derrick did enjoy the skinship he was currently sharing with Lucia as he stood still but his mind was elsewhere. He wanted to make sure of something that would confirm his credibility of his plan. And proceeding this thought he instantly threw a punch towards Lucia's abdomen. As she was almost sticking to Derrick she couldn't avoid it inevitably taking the blow. But considering Derrick's weakened strength his punch was extremely weak.

Without any thought lagging his action, Derrick immediately lunged at her following his punch but this time she had the liberty to dodge. Her figure disappeared right in front of his eyes and before he knew it his arms and legs were being locked by Lucia immobilizing him. But this alone wasn't enough to make Derrick surrender but he had already confirmed his suspicion and there was no point in struggling in this current scenario that is if he wanted to escape successfully. So, he decided not to retaliate temporarily.

The exchange between him and Lucia lasted only a jiffy and the moment he was immobilised both his hands and legs were cuffed while plasma guns were pointed at him by the members of the black squad. He had no choice but to be carried away towards Lucia's shuttle.

He was sitting next to Lucia and her body was weirdly close to him all along. Being with the original body of Lucia didn't repel him from her in any way. Looking back his manly instinct was right he was uncomfortable staying with the clone for some reasons and now he was enlightened at what the problem was. He wasn't attracted to species other than genuine females.

Derrick noticed that the journey was takin long. He concluded his destination was not the black cube but some far place unknown to him. He was only in the capital city all his life never bothered to venture the outside. And to reach the black cube with a shuttle it only took about 15-20 minutes.

Earth originally had seven continents but now it was only left with five of them. And the one that was Derrick's homeland was "Eema" previously known as Asia. During the intergalactic wars, Earth suffered the destruction of two continents, Australia and South America which were one of the strongest forces of the Earth. Europe had been submerged as the water level rose only revealing the highest surface of the continent and it was now called the underwater continent since most of its land was now underwater. The three remaining continents remained the same without changes and amongst them, North America had the most powerful force while Africa was labelled as the most dangerous place on earth which was infested by the abomination. Africa was the battlefield where the battles with the abomination were highest and it was the place where the base of the abomination on earth was located.

Athena was much more capable than he thought, with Athena, Derrick now knew Earth like the back of his hand. Athena was still assisting him even though he was already captured.

Hours passed but it seemed the black squad hadn't even reached the destination yet. Derrick decided to examine him since Athena was capable of examining the other party then why not him.

Derrick was surprised at the details he just saw, it was incredibly detailed and for some reason, the record of the immortal which he hadn't even touched was classified as a weapon for some reason unknown to him. All he knew was it was only a book and the elders were chapters of the immortal record. Athena was somehow given access to the chapter of knowledge which was elder Wisdom aka smartass.

Derrick was looking at his attributes and all of them were now reduced to 10 and he didn't even know his stats before he had awakened. To know how much his strength had increased he needed to read the email from the academy. But before he could read the email a chilly air had assaulted everyone in the shuttle.

Derrick slowly revealed a sinister expression as his lips transformed into a curve. He had been waiting for this moment. Derrick knew they had reached continent Antarctica. It was the most mysterious continent out of the five. Although the prison for the deadliest criminals was located here the Lifeguards had only explored only a part of this continent and even with many strong individuals, they were still incapable of completely exploring this continent.

Derrick attention immediately turned toward Lucia while revealing a cold smile.

"Do you mind helping me Lucia.... In escaping?"

Lucia stood up slowly getting away from Derrick as her hands were on the holster ready to draw her gun while still staring at the smiling Derrick.
