4 Couples Skating

Ericka and Cindy were walking back to their rooms when Ericka stopped to let Cindy know that Ken is playful, a bit of a flirt, but is actually fun and nice and really does know how to skate both singles and couples. She made sure Cindy didn't have her doubts. knowing that if you doubt your partner in couples skating, something can go wrong and she actually hoped that Cindy and Ken would get along off and on the ice.

Later that evening, Ken and Bryan were walking to Rink#1. Couples skating could be at any of the rinks, but mostly everyone would use rink one, sine skaters of all slating levels could skate there. Bryan asked Ken what he thought about Cindy? Ken told him that his first impression of her was all wrong and that she always surprises him when they meet. He explained to Bryan how, every time he would offer help or advice she rejected him, not in a bad or mean way though, and even though she is graceful and beautiful and nice she is not conceited at all. Bryan just looked at his friend, hoping just like Ericka that these two would hit it off and maybe become more than friends. Knowing Ken is a nice guy himself, but too flirtatious, needing someone who could help him, put him at, someone like Cindy.

The boys were warming up when they saw the girls coming to the rink. Ken nearly fell at the sight of a light blue-eyed beauty who had her golden blonde hair tied in a french braid, light makeup that matched her eyes, light smooth skin and nicely fitted clothing. (a button-down blouse and a short skirt with leggings...Ericka's idea) Bryan noticed his friend staring at the beauty, I mean he was even caught off guard, helped his friend gain composure before he was found gawking at her.

******* The girls getting ready for tonight. *******

After Ericka wad ready, she hurried over to Cindy's room to see if she was ok, first of all, and secondly if she was ready. Thankfully, though Ericka had gotten ready a bit too early in case she needed to help out Cindy and she did.

Ericka could tell that Cindy was a little nervous as it was her first time skating as a couple, having to be dependent on someone else while skating, and to top it off it is with a boy. So Ericka thought they could play dress up before going to meet the boys and it worked. Cindy got her regular smile on and started to feel excited to learn a new to skate, thinking it would be a nice experience just like playing dress-up was. (Cindy never wore makeup nor dressed up, unless it was for a competition.)

****** Back to present, meeting with the boys*****

When girls reached the rink, they noticed quite a few couples already skating and the boys they would be skating with were warming up. The girls warmed up a bit too. Then they all went onto the ice. They were all talking a bit skating on the outside until Bryan took Ericka away when an upbeat song came on. Ken and Cindy continued on the outside of the rink.

Ken started to ask Cindy questions so he would know how he should start to skate with her. He learned that Cindy knows how to dance although she has never danced with anyone before other than her instructor and that she has never had a boyfriend or really hung out with boys, but she reassured him that she is a fast learner so he wouldn't need to help her out so much. Cindy noticed that she started rambling on and on speaking faster the more she spoke. She started to get embarrassed about it, looking away hoping he wouldn't make fun of her.
