61 Blunder

After the group arrived inside the Community Hall of the Chaos Clan, Amelia started retrieving items out from her storage ring to count.

"Table? Check. Vases? Check. Chairs? Check. TV? TV? Did I get a TV?"

"No, you didn't buy a TV." Zack folded his arms and answered his girlfriend. A sigh soon followed.

"Gosh, I'm such a dunce. I can't believe I forgot to buy a TV!"

"Chill, we can just buy a TV the next time we visit the markets. Because even if you're a dunce, you're my dunce." Zack grabbed Alice by her waist and smiled.

Blake and Willford immediately coughed out a mouthful of blood each in return. This loving scene was too much for their single hearts to handle.

"Gah! I've received critical damage from watching my friends' love for each other!"

"Fuck! Same! I shall now go back to my quarters to recuperate and recover my single heart." Saying so, Blake grabbed his pained chest and limped away.

When Blake returned to his newly built house, he immediately took out his phone before he connected it to the wireless speaker in a corner of his house via bluetooth.

With a tap on his phone, samurai trap music started to fill every corner of his house.

"Ah, that's much better." Blake sighed to himself as the trap music calmed his thoughts within a jiffy.

He then cleared away the furniture in his living room before he sat down in a cross legged position while facing the setting sun.

As the sun descended, his eyelids followed.

When the sun finally disappeared into the horizon, Blake had entered a meditative state.

'Breath in, breath out…Breath in…Breath out...'

As he slowly cleared his mind of chaotic thoughts, his breath and heartbeat slowed down significantly.

Blake has now entered a deep meditative state.

The white world within Blake's mind…

After clearing his chaotic thoughts away, Blake's spiritual space had become as clear as day.

Here, Blake, in his astral form, reviewed and learned from his recent fights during the school tournament and when he fought against random nobodies spawned in to make him look good.

He repeated the moves he had first performed in front of thousands of people, before he moved on to practicing his chantless magic arts.

This continued on for hours without end, so results appearing within one session of deep meditation didn't surprise Blake in the slightest.

'With my right hand coated in incredibly pure, condensed magical power, if I balled my hand into a fist and strike it in a direction…' A bright beam of condensed magical power shot out from Blake's fist before it devastated the land before him.

'It can split the earth with ease. I wonder whether it can split the sky?' Looking up at the white ceiling above him, Blake balled his hand into a fist before he pushed his fist in the sky's direction.

Sure enough, the bright beam of condensed magical power bore a hole within the white ceiling before it soon touched upon the border separating the white space from Blake's spiritual sea.

As a result, Blake felt a sharp pain at the top of his head, forcing him to cough out a mouthful of blood in real life.

Luckily, the damage stopped at that. The boy wasn't jolted out of his deep meditation so he was able to recover quickly after that blunder of his.

'Alright, mental note to self, don't test new techniques inside my mind. There's a chance I might experience qi deviation and I'm not going to risk that.' Blake wiped the blood dripping down the corner of his mouth and stated.

It was truly his blunder for thinking that he would receive no harm inside this white world of his.

Thankfully, since he was a Magic Ancestor, the damage he caused to himself got reduced due to the thick spiritual waves absorbing the bright beam's destructive force.

And so, Blake continued to practice his magic martial arts until the next morning.

Upon waking up from his deep meditation, Blake's first reaction was surprise.

Despite being in deep meditation for only a night, the boy was able to perceive changes within his body effortlessly.

'My senses have gotten sharper. The strength I can utilize into a single part of my body has increased significantly. Not only that, mana pool has increased by twofold? Wait a minute, how is that possible? I didn't even do any actual cultivation when I was within my mind. This…I'm confused.'

With a snap of his fingers, a ball of purple flames appeared in the palm of his right hand. He then took his time to perceive the mysteries found within the ball of purple flames.

'This purity…I didn't think I'd ever get to see purple flames.' After a while, Blake muttered to himself.

Since no one knew the meaning behind his words, his cultivation session came to a close.

After his meditation, Blake took a quick shower before he left for his clan's community hall.

There were still a lot of things he needed to handle as the clan master, so he quickened his pace by applying the blessing of the wind to the soles of his feet.

Along the way however, he suddenly felt a change in the surroundings. 'Weird. The abundant world energy within my clan walls is decreasing rapidly. Is a worldly treasure about to appear here?'

Blake felt odd at the thought of this. After all, the Swordfish King gave him a barren plot of land located in the outskirts of the kingdom.

The possibility of a rare herb or mysterious treasure appearing here was incredibly low, much less to say about a worldly treasure.

But what if a worldly treasure really did appear inside the compounds of his clan? Wouldn't that mean Blake would have sole ownership over the worldly treasure?

Alas, before he could deduce why the surrounding world energy was depleting at an alarming rate, the ground in front of him cracked open, spewing forth a geyser of blood.

The blood geyser phenomenon didn't last long however. It merely appeared before Blake for a minute, spewing seven black objects at the boy, before it disappeared back into the ground again.

Following that, Blake noticed that the surrounding world energy has been replenished.

'Just…Just what has happened?' Shocked by what had just happened, Blake looked at the seven black objects in disbelief.
