CC is one of the highly respected bachelorettes in Santi Tierra for owning a resort. She's the epitome of true beauty, intelligence and wealth; setting a high standard to be dubbed as the have it all woman.

All eyes are on her, that's why carelessness doesn't have a place for her. She's afraid of making mistakes because the expectations from her by the people around her were too high.

And that leads her to be unconsciously perfectionist, until she meets this man. A stranger that makes her feel loved for the second time around. She fell in love with him, she fell from his trap...

Is it or the other way around?

Madrid, Spain.

"You're still running away from the past that keeps haunting you..." A faint, but shrill voice filled the previously silent room.

Meanwhile, she squinted her eyes after the bright sunlight greeted her as she slid the thick curtain of the glass window to the side. The setting sun is peeking between the towering buildings surrounding the city.

"Are you ready to unveil the secrets in your painting?" The sound of clicking heels followed the woman as the latter walked towards where she's standing.

She took a sip of Brandy from her wineglass after she saw the woman smirked from her reflection in the glass window.

She turned around to face the woman. "How many times do I have to say that it's just an art for me? I'm not Leonardo da Vinci to paint such a mysterious art. Stop telling me about those secrets, Cherry, because there really aren't any." She emptied her wineglass and strode back to the couch. She put down the wineglass on the center table.

"I'll be heading home. Just call me if you want me to do anything else, I'm just at my apartment." She grabbed her bag on the couch.

Cherry smirked at her, tracing the edge of the landscape painting with her thumb. "Even if you don't admit it...I know you still love him. You purposely avoid talking about him because you're still hurting up to this day."

Her jaw clenched at she heard, especially when she got a glimpse of the painting after Cherry placed it on the center table.

"Don't start with me, Cherry! Please, don't!" She quickly headed to the office's door but before she could even get out, she faced Cherry again. "You're right, I'll avoid it as long as I can, because that's all I can do..."

She paused a bit to smile wearily, "So Cher...don't ever love someone who doesn't love you. Never choose to hurt the person who loves you. Because it hurts..." she shut her eyes when something pinched her heart.

"It hurts even more than a toothache." That's all and she continued to leave.

Her steps were quick while walking down the hallway until her cellphone rang. She took it off from her bag to see who's calling.

Her eyebrows furrowed when she saw the name on the screen. She swallowed hard, debating whether to answer or not.

She chose the last choice. She just continued walking towards the parking lot. She ignored her cellphone and let it from ringing since it's a call from the person she still avoids until now.

"Not now Raki. I'm not ready yet..." she uttered in her mind.
