Bus Ride With Her Again

The rest of the day was spent talking with each other, reminiscing their memories of last year. The transfer student also joined them; her name was Emily Cross. She was from Minana before they move here to Bagiatnan Island. Her mother was from here while his father was from Minana, they had decided to spend her high school here before moving back to Minana for her college.

Roda and the others also told their classmates how Chris sang an original song he wrote. The others didn't believe it, they even want him to sing the song again, but he declined. He was in no need to satisfy his own vanity; he was fine as it is. Besides, they will see the recording soon so there was no need to sing again. Just so he can prove it.

During lunch, Chris together with Roda, Eva, and Kyrie ate together. Nachtan has something to do so he did not join them. They talked about some random stuff, Kyrie was telling them about girls while Eva was happily talking to him and agreeing. She was a social butterfly so almost everyone in school knows her. So, it is not a surprise that she will have beautiful friends that will catch Kyrie's attention. The only problem is that she won't tell Kyrie their names and phone numbers, so he had to do most of the hard work.

After their lunch, they went back to their classroom and waited for their English teacher. Just like what they did on the earlier subject, they were given test papers for them to answer. This time, Chris made sure that he would only score about 75% as he was always not good at English. If he suddenly scores higher than their top 1, that would have been weird.

They were dismissed early and allowed to go home. Chris went home first as Kyrie and the others still want to hang out. They invited him but he declines to say that he still has something to do at home. They didn't force him as they all went to play in the arcade with the excited Eva.

As Chris waited at the bus stop, he began to think of his future.

'I am still a student, though I could just take a test and graduate early. That would be suspicious.'

'Maybe I should write a novel. Then I could use these novels in the future if I ever want to make a movie, so I must not sell the copyrights for this novel. Next is streaming, but I don't have a computer, my laptop won't be suitable for streaming and I don't want to ask my mother and father for money. They will ask me why I want a computer. But if I earn my own money then they will probably not ask me why I want one. I think.'

'But then what should I do? What's the fastest way to earn money? I could just hack the banks and transfer the money to my account but that would be against my principle. Maybe I could help the police catch hackers? But how should I approach them without making them suspicious of me?'

The bus arrives as he and the others in line boarded. Behind Chris was the same girl he had ridden a bus with earlier, Silphia.

Though it was just a coincidence that Silphia saw Chris waiting for the bus, she was about to call her mother, but she changed her mind when she saw him. She knows that she's behaving like a stalker, but she just can't help it. Silphia was curious to know more about Chris.

The two sat together once again, with Chris looking at Silphia weirdly. He had already noticed the girl who also happened to be the same this morning. He stretched out his hands towards her and introduced himself.

"Hello, my name's Chris Evans. We meet again huh." The girl shakes his hand as she smiled. Her voice was sweet and was a little bit excited, "Yes! This is such a coincidence. My name's Silphia Norman."

"So, what do you think of CHS?" Chris leaned as he hugs his bag. His hood still covering his head. CHS is the name of their school which stands for, Central High School.

Silphia put up a thinking expression, "I don't have much opinion since this is just my second day at school. But I think it's a really great high school."

"Well, you'll love it there. Since there will be many events. The teachers are also quite good, and the school is also provided with many school equipment."

"My cousin also told me that the events are fun." Silphia nodded with a smile.

"Yeah, the events are the only thing most of my classmates anticipate. Especially the acquaintance party, which I think will be held at the end of the month." Chris took off his hood as it was getting hot.

'Wow!' Silphia thought as she was once again given another chance to look at Chris' face. She can be considered lucky since only his classmates and teachers see him without his hood. She is also the only one aside from his classmates who had seen his face twice a day.

"Do you mind if I call you Kuya Chris?" Silphia asked with anticipation.

(AN: Kuya means brother in our language. And it is used as an honorific to refer to someone older than you in school. Much like how senpai is used in Japanese.)

"I don't mind." Chris thinks that it is not something he would mind. In a matter of fact, he likes people who have manners.

"How about Oniichan?" Silphia teased.

Chris chopped her on the head, "Don't push it." Then he realizes that he was not talking to Eva. "Sorry."

Silphia was also surprised by the chop, though it doesn't hurt. The action was very intimate, from her perspective. Hearing Chris apologizes, she immediately waved her hands while shaking her head.

"No, no, no. It was my fault for teasing you."

"I rudely chopped your head."

"But it was because I was teasing you."

"I still chopped your head."

"It doesn't hurt."

"It does not matter whether it hurts or not. I still chopped your head."

"I really don't mind."

"I did."

"You don't have to."

Both stared at each other before laughing. It was quite silly for them to argue for such a thing. Nevertheless, that small argument of them brought them a little closer to each other as they continued talking.

When it was also time for Chris to get off, he asked for Silphia's ChatBox account. They will continue their talk later as Silphia said there was something she wants to ask him but refuses to ask him earlier.

Chris then got off the bus and bid goodbye to Silphia. He then walked him.

"Mom, I'm home!" Chris informs as he entered the house. Taking off his shoes before putting them aside. He then put on his slippers as he greeted his mother.

"Oh, you're early." His mother asked.

"Yeah. There was nothing much to do at school today. There's also something I need to do today so I went home early. I'll be in my room if you need something." Chris climbs upstairs.

Chris plans to write a novel today, though he reckons that he will not be able to finish writing it all tonight. He will be creating a website of his own, where he will post his novels. He will also create a program where it will track down every pirate website that tries to upload his novel and will automatically delete it. If the site tries to do it again, then it will destroy the site, trace their IP address as it destroys any stored data of his novel. Hopefully, he can create something like that.

Chris had the Programming and Hacking basic skills which are skills that someone would have to take years to acquire. If he wants to, he could even create a virus that could potentially destroy a whole nation's economy. But that would have to wait until he levels up his skills into Intermediate or even Advanced. However, Chris has his own bottom line so he won't be doing any of that.

As he could not remember the whole content of a novel he had read in his previous life, that doesn't mean that he couldn't take any ideas from them. He began to work on his novel, planning the storyline, creating the characters, and thinking of the events.

Time flew past as heard his mother calling his name. Chris looked at the clock on his table. It was already 6:07 pm, he had unknowingly been writing for three hours straight. And he had also just finished writing the first chapter

Yup. There might be more chapters today. Or I might just laze around this rare time where I don't have to do assignments. By the way guys, is the story slow or fast?

I also think the interaction between the characters are awkward, I don't really have any idea how people interact because I don't talk to people that much. Might have to read a few novels to improve on this part. Tell me what you guys think.
