53 The Attack

Much to Shirley's disappointment, she reached on time and they left the port accordingly. On the way, Shirley encountered one strange thing. When she passed by the main door, just as she crossed it, the glass door suddenly shattered. Glass flew around everywhere and luckily she did not get hurt.

It was very strange and when she had time to breathe she was reminded about Granny Eva's words. But if she remembered correctly, then she has said to keep a distance from windows.

Maybe that's why she was not hurt!

But both door and window have one thing in common and that is both of them were made of glass. Well, not every door is but the hotel's main door was. Nonetheless, this incident has increased her awareness of her surroundings.
