'Maybe it was retribution that all of them died on the spot except Jake. When paramedics arrived he was conscious and screaming in pain. All the way to the hospital, he was in a state of constant turmoil. He was in a critical condition and died after a week of suffering. He was the person who suffered most.

I listened to what the lawyer said but I did not think that it was enough.

Call me cruel, if you want to but he did not suffer at all.

It was she who was suffering. I asked him why did he tell me everything, why this sympathy. He could have stopped Jake but he did not so why was he now showing concern to her.

He said that maybe fate brought them together.
