A Search for Eternal Sunshine

A story of a boy, Ron whose life is turned upside down when attacked by a group of mysterious bandits and a confusing letter which is handed to him by his elder brother before sacrifing himself so that he may escape. Two years later, Ron gets cursed by a Pagan God nearly escaping death in an orphanage after which he sets up for a horror field journey amidst a war between two kingdoms, running for his life from the cult of the God. Reading the confusing letter, he begins his fight against a mysterious man. The man seems to knows everything about what is going to happen in the future. (not to spoil too much, this is not a story where the main protoganist is a transmigator from another world with all his memories or time travel from the future to past life, but what if the mysterious antagonist is such a character. Dimitri, as the name mentioned in the letter is the person who has lived his life with memories from another future and with his knowledge and cunning personality has already begun shaping this world into a twisted chessboard of his own design)
