Arriving in Forks 1

"The house was not like this in the past, the windows were different, I also expanded the house during the renovation, luckily it was already planned when I built it in the past," said Esme.

"You're really talented, Esme. Designing a house like this must be very difficult. Many people would be lucky to have a house created by you," said Paul.

"It's not really difficult. As Carlisle and all my children took various courses, I also had an interest in the past in how to create and design houses that I thought and even organizing the interior of the house was always fun."

"Carlisle let me create other houses even before taking a course. With years of practice, it became easier. In fact, we should have done the renovation ourselves, but since we had to go to Alaska, our lawyers recommended a company to do my project," said Esme.

"Yes, I never regretted letting you design our houses, Esme. They are getting more beautiful," said Carlisle.

Esme was happy with Carlisle's compliment. Carlisle and Esme were more discreet, but they were also a passionate couple who were always with the Cullens. Paul thought the movies didn't correctly portray how well they fit together.

"Let's go inside. We have to choose the rooms, after all, we have many new members in our family compared to the past," said Carlisle.

"Yes, we older ones have priority in choosing the rooms, the younger ones take the remaining rooms," said Emmett.

Everyone laughed and entered the house. In the past, only Edward, Carlisle, Esme, Edythe, Emmett, and Rosalie had been in this house. Jasper would be in Edythe's room, so only four rooms in the house would be occupied.

The house had six bedrooms, so Paul let Alice choose her room, and he took the last room. Emmett wanted to say something, but Rosalie stopped him and brought Emmett to their room. Paul still heard Emmett say in a low voice that he and Alice would stay in the same room, so it wouldn't make a difference.

Paul was embarrassed hearing this, he knew that Alice loved him and he also liked her a lot, Paul didn't know why he didn't feel a strong attraction like the other vampires, but he knew it wasn't love like he felt in the past for his wife.

Even so, he had the feeling that he wouldn't find a companion in this vampire life, so he thought he could be with Alice since she loved him, so maybe Paul could someday love Alice as much as she loved him.

Paul wasn't sure, but he imagined that maybe his situation was different because he wasn't supposed to be in this world, he was placed in this world by another god and things were different for him.

Soon, Paul entered the remaining room and was happy with the room he was given. It was as big as the room he had in the house in Alaska, and it had a window with a view of the forest, just like he had seen in some of the rooms in the movie.

Paul was happy and knew he would live in this house for many years. He was eager to start following the story he knew, which would now be part of his own story. Of course, Paul would make some changes to make the Cullens' lives easier.

Paul felt like a tourist in Forks, and he was excited to explore the town when he started school the next year. Before that, he wouldn't go into town so as not to cause problems for Carlisle. But he could freely explore the forest.

He unpacked his bags and arranged his clothes in the closet before opening the window and going into the forest. It was night, and yet he had no difficulty moving around at night.

Paul walked through the forest at high speed, but he wasn't in a hurry and just wanted to see what the forest was like. He didn't know if all the scenes in the movie were filmed in Forks, but he found several locations that he had seen in the movie.

The places where Edward and Bella stayed, the place where Bella found the first human after she became a vampire, and several other locations from the movie. As it was night, the scenes looked different, but Paul could tell that they were in the same places.

In Europe, Paul didn't have many opportunities to enter forests. He only went when he was hungry and the forests were smaller. In Alaska, there were cities that had the sun all day long in the summer, but luckily where Paul was, the days were cloudy.

So, Paul felt that being in Forks was the best place he had been as a vampire. Carlisle chose this town well in this universe. Of course, it was the author of the story who must have thought long and hard to choose the town of Forks.

At night, Paul even took the opportunity to go to La Push on the Quileute Indian Reservation. Paul didn't remember if there was an old wolf that could still transform, so he used telekinesis to fly low over La Push.

Paul saw the places where Jacob and other wolves jumped into the water, saw the beach, and many other places. He even saw the reservation from afar, it was Paul's only opportunity before Sam transformed into a wolf. After that, the treaty would come back into effect, and he wouldn't be able to enter La Push.

After walking around in various places, Paul returned to Cullen's house satisfied. He had seen the places he wanted to see, and when it dawned, he could visit the forest again. When Paul entered his room, he was startled to see Emmett waiting for him.

"You're really restless, Paul. I didn't expect you to leave right after arriving in Forks. You could at least wait until dawn," said Emmett.

"For us, it's better to travel at night. I wanted to see what the forest and nearby places were like. It's really a beautiful forest," said Paul.

"You think? I think this place is just like any other. I'm not so happy to come here to study, and it's also a place where there are Shape-shifters," said Emmett.

"I thought you said Shape-shifters were interesting. Maybe we can see them around town next year," said Paul.

"It's possible. I do find them interesting, but when I came to live in Forks in the past, it hadn't been long since I became a vampire. It was difficult to control my thirst for human blood, so we came to this place where there were few people," said Emmett.

"We couldn't have imagined that there were Shape-shifters in this place. They said they transformed because of us. Luckily, Carlisle was able to make a deal with them, but I was even more worried about losing control at that time," said Emmett.
