2 Chapter 2: What? Power Level 5
Gine approached her home with Raditz still unconscious. She swiftly went to his room to lay him down to rest. After taking off his green scouter to put on the bedside nightstand and tucking him in, she kissed his forehead. She hoped that he'll wake up tomorrow feeling a little bit better.
Since he can't eat dinner since he's unconscious, she'll make him a big breakfast to make up for missing dinner. After all he is a growing Saiyan boy. Leaving Raditz's room she goes to the kitchen to cook herself enough food to sate her Saiyan appetite.
After having her fill, she goes to visit Kakarot's incubation pod. She looks at her youngest fondly. She was staring at his pod in wonder as Kakarot looks exactly like his father. Gine stared at Kakarot before turning in early. Seeing Raditz unconscious made her worried and feel very distressed, so she decided forgoing back to work at the meat factory and goes to bed.

In Raditz's room, where the boy lay unresponsive to the world around him. The merging of the two souls was still ongoing. At this moment, the new soul that invaded Raditz's body was taking over. It was slowly absorbing Raditz's younger soul to fuse into one.
However, since the merging isn't complete, he will get only fragments of the Saiyan's memories. Another consequence of this phenomenon, his Ki will be unbalanced and weakened. This will cause his power to be low, if someone were to use a scouter on him, it would read a power level of 5.
Basically, he would be strong as an Earthling or as weak as a low-class Saiyan baby in terms of ki levels.

-Raditz Point of View-
The Next Day
I began to stir as sunlight was hitting my face from the green circular windows. I slowly opened my eyes to see an unfamiliar ceiling.
Muttering to myself, "where the f**k am I?" Blinking in surprise at how young and different my voice was.
Then the memories hit me like a truck. I was in the body of a young Raditz before he went to his first mission with prince Vegeta and Nappa. I made an effort to get up but found I couldn't move very much. It felt like gravity was trying to crush my body into paste. Which is understandable since Planet Vegeta has a gravity 10 times stronger compared to Earth, but this body should be used to this amount of gravity. Maybe that's why I'm not a Saiyan pancake.
At least I should be grateful that I'm alive again after experiencing death. I looked around with great difficulty and saw a green scouter on the side of the bed on top of a primitive nightstand. I got off the bed with a lot of effort and picked up the scouter. I examined the device and had a basic understanding on how to use it, thanks to Raditz's memories. I put on the scouter and use the self-scan to show my own power level.
I screamed out, "WHAT THE HELL? WHY IS MY POWER LEVEL 5?" From the memories I got from Raditz, his power level should be 685. My screaming apparently woke up Gine because she quickly slammed the door open and saw that I was awake. (There is no canon power level for Raditz when he was a child so I'm making a guess. If there is let me know so I can fix it. Also let me know if it's too high or too low.)
I stared at her. I was now seeing the mother of Goku and Raditz. Which I currently reside in. She looks just like in the anime. She had black hair which was common for a Saiyan. She was wearing a variant of the Saiyan armor which was green and yellow with white boots. Her tail was unwrapped and was freely waving behind her.
"Raditz, are you okay? What the matter?" She questioned like if I was injured or in pain.
"I'm fine mother. I just feel very weak, and I can barely stand." I answered her. 'Wow, it is very awkward to call someone else mom, but I best get used it.' I thought to myself.
"Then why were you screaming, you almost scared me half to death", Gine asked me.
"I was checking my power level and it read number 5. You can see for yourself." I then pointed at the scouter on my face and indeed it showed that my power level was 5.
"That can't be right", Gine muttered to herself. "A couple weeks ago you showed your father before he left on his mission that your power level was over 600. Let's go to the medical bay to get you a checkup, to see what's wrong."
Then she starts walking expecting me to follow her. I tried to follow her, but it takes so much effort to make a single step. "Uhm, mother?" I asked quietly.
"Yes sweetie", Gine asked.
"I can barely move; can you carry me?" I was so embarrassed as I was a grown man and I had to ask her to carry me like a child.
Thankfully by being embarrassed by it made sure she has no suspicions of the changes occurring with the original Raditz's personality. Raditz was at that age when he didn't want his mother's coddling, so Raditz would normally be affronted to ask such a thing. I didn't like how Gine eyes shined liked stars after I asked though.
"Of course, I can carry you Raditz. Come here and let's go." She picked me up and leaves the room. When we entered the room where Kakarot pod is at, Gine told me to say good morning to him.
I stared at the incubation pod that carried the main character of Dragon Ball that would be later known as Goku. I was meeting Kakarot, as that was his name, for the very first time.
I finally said, "good morning." Then suddenly my stomach growled like a beast causing me to put a hand over my stomach.
"Okay, first let's make you a big breakfast then I will take you to the medical bay." She sets me in one of chairs and heads to the kitchen.
After about 30 minutes, which felt like an eternity to me, Gine finally brought a huge spread of food I have never seen before on Earth. There were similarities with some of the dishes, but the rest were unknown. I was unsure if this was really edible even if Raditz's memories say otherwise.
My stomach growled again and that made the decision for me. With some effort I managed to grab a piece of meat and shoveled it into my mouth. It didn't taste as good as the food from earth, but I was too hungry to care.
After eating like I was starving for days I finished the food. Gine wiped my mouth of any food remnants and left the house to head to the medical center.

Arriving at the medical center, Gine stopped one of the Saiyan medical personnel to check me for any anomalies. The Saiyan gave us a room number, so we can wait for a doctor to do the scan. Gine thanked the Saiyan for his assistance and went to our waiting room. After waiting for maybe five minutes a male Saiyan doctor came through the door.
"Greetings, my name is Dr. Matoto. May I know the reason for your visit today?" I was surprised at how polite the Saiyan in front of me was. I thought that all Saiyans were rough and gruff. Maybe that just the warriors though.
Gine answered the doctor. "My son's power level was originally over 600 and the scouter shows that his power is 5. This occurred when he passed out yesterday. He can barely move under the planet's gravity as I'm now carrying him."
Dr. Matoto hum thoughtfully. "I see. Do you feel any pain or discomfort?"
"No, just weak and uncomfortable because of the gravity, but otherwise I'm fine", I answered to the doctor's question truthfully.
Dr. Matoto then turned to Gine. "Put him on the medical bed so I can see if I can find anything. I will also check his power level using a scouter that's more precise and has a stronger scanner."
Gine gently puts me on the medical bed and steps back so the doctor can work. After 20 minutes of scanning my body for anything out of the ordinary, he couldn't find anything that was odd. The scouter stilled showed that his power level was 5.
Dr. Matoto was scratching his head. He couldn't figure out the problem, so with a heavy heart he turned to Gine. "I'm sorry, I can't find the problem that's causing the strange phenomena. Only thing I can think of that causes this would be an injury, but the scanner shows his body in perfect health."
When a Saiyan is gravely injured their power level can be significantly lower than what it actually is. I had no such injuries; my body is as healthy it can be. "All I can tell you is to hope for the best and maybe it will sort itself out."
"What should Raditz do?" Gine pleaded Dr. Matoto.
"He should do some exercise, so his body can strengthen and readapt to Planet Vegeta's gravity. He should also be fed a lot of food, so he can have plenty of nutrients to fuel his body." Dr. Matoto informed Gine.
Gine told him she understood and picked me up from the bed and left the center to go home.

-3rd point of view-
Gine arrived home and put him down. "Raditz, I'm going to cook a gigantic amount of food that should hold you till I get back from work. Okay?"
"Yes mother. I'm going to start doing the exercises. The sooner the better", He told her.
Gine told him good luck and went to the kitchen to start cooking and when she was done, she left to go to work. He started by walking in circles in the room that houses Kakarot's pod. It took like 1 hour to make a full circle, that included taking water breaks and catching his breath.
Raditz never did so much exercise before since he was pretty hefty back when he was human, not quite fat but not skinny. He used to exercise back when he was playing football in high school but even then, Raditz had never pushed himself this hard.
He also never enjoyed it like he did now, thanks to being a Saiyan, he felt exhilarated to be able push his limits. After doing another lap around the room which was slightly faster with 2 minutes less. Next, he did 10 pushups, 10 sit ups, and 10 lunges with 3 reps. After he was done with his reps, his stomach roared like a rampaging oozaru(Great Ape). He struggled to get to the kitchen, but Raditz had an easier time moving.
When he had his fill, Raditz repeated the exercises until Gine came back from work. Seeing him work so hard, she couldn't keep the smile from her face as she made dinner for the both of us. Gine was glad that his power level being 5 didn't upset him too much. She bet that Bardock would be proud of him. After they finished dinner, they went to bed to tackle the next day.
