9 Chapter 9: Explosive Return

The old alien doctor Appula was sitting peacefully happily filling out her work reports for the day on a small portable monitor.

She was getting ready to go home after a long day and relax.

She hadn't noticed some of the security cameras go offline while she wrapped up the report and shut down the lights.

Just as she arrived at the door to leave her work space.

She heard a knocking come from the other side.

(*CLANG-CLANG-CLANG)

Appula : "Ex-excuse me?"

She was caught off guard by the sudden knocking and wondered who would be here at this time of night.

(*BOOM!)

Appula : "Eeek!"

Before she could question who the person was or respond appropriately.

She was blown away by the explosion and sent crashing into the wall falling unconscious...

A figure emerged from the smoke and with a cheeky smile he spoke.
