179 Chapter 179: Weighed and Measured on the scales

I let the other kids handle the other lower level villains to gain experience like in the original. The only difference was Thirteen actually collecting the villains that were beaten and subdued. Shigaraki was on the floor motionless with his usual deranged look in his eyes and gnashed teeth. The irritating itch that Shigaraki gave me before stopped as my cells have gotten used to his quirk and nullified it, thank you gourmet cells. Even though Midoriya tackled Nomu, Nomu did nothing and still didn't move. Midoriya looked at me in concern.

Sage: Oh, right, I paralyzed him, my bad.

When I had my finger in between his eyes I used knocking on him. I propped him up a good distance away from Midoriya.

Sage: Ok, when I release him make sure to subdue him. He can take your full strength so hopefully you saved enough energy to fight him.

Midoriya nodded his head. When I released Nomu, I grabbed Aizawa out of the way. I clipped a Senzu Bean in a few pieces and I gave one to him and Midoriya.

Sage: Eat that Midoriya, that way you can fight longer. (To Aizawa) You too, you can recover your arm. (Back to Midoriya) Remember Midoriya, don't go in at full power, you don't know the full extent of the opponent, feel him out first and adjust your strength accordingly. When you know you can finish him off take the shot.

Midoriya nodded, took a stance and attacked the Nomu. This Nomu is one of the earlier works and has a few quirks, but none that Midoriya or All Might, currently, couldn't handle. Midoriya was slightly weaker than the debilitated All Might so the Nomu might have a little advantage. The kids started gathering slowly after helping Thirteen move the subdued villains and started to watch the fight between Midoriya and the Nomu. I saw Midoriya winding up for a hit.

Midoriya: DETROIT SMASH!!!!!!

A great gust of wind blew but Nomu took the blow, Midoriya then realized that he did not have to worry about not killing Nomu and continued to punch. The two exchanged blows rapidly, generating gusts of wind to the area.

Momo: I can't see their movements, what about you Ida-kun?

Ida: No, after Midoriya's Detroit Smash and they started exchanging blows I could no longer keep up.

Bakugou: (Snarling) Damn you Deku.

Uraka: It's almost like watching All Might fight.

At this time I called All Might through telepathy to come by with the police and the coroner to pick up some villains and a dead body. I assured him that it was a villain's body though not a students. All Might called the police and the coroner but he arrived earlier himself to see the situation. He was behind the students also watching his successors fight. He looked surprised at Midoriya's growth and was happy to see that Midoriya could handle One-For-All.

Before the police and coroner arrives I will teach the kids a harsh lesson before I make my way out. Midoriya finally had Nomu on the ropes but Nomu couldn't be stopped so I intervened when Midoriya's strength started to wane. I stepped in between them grabbing Midoriya and using knocking on Nomu again.

Sage: How was it Midoriya?

Midoriya: I thought I could take him but he was very relentless.

Sage: Ok, since everyone is here, let's find out why the guy with his brains on display is the way he is.

I walked to the broken Shigaraki, propped him up and took that fake hand off his head.

Shigaraki: (In a very raspy voice) You think you will get anything out of me?!

Sage: Hahaha, I know your bitch ass won't talk. But who said anything about hearing it from you directly?

I broke the hand I removed from Shigaraki in front of him and placed my hand on top. I read through his fucked up mind and got what I needed.

Sage: According to Mr. Jazz hands' brain here, the guy you were fighting Midoriya, is called Nomu. It is an artificial human that was once a small time thug turned to a brainless, despite having it on display, strong monster with multiple quirks through human experimentation that only accepts orders from the people that made him.

Students: WHAT?!?!?!

Ida: There are people so sick that they would experiment on other people? What disgusting villains.

Momo: Having multiple quirks is no joke either. From the fight with Midoriya, from what I could only see, was that he had a damage absorption ability.

Shoto: Don't forget regeneration, when Midoriya blew away his hand.

Ida: Speed, strength and stamina as well.

Sage: Next, is this guy, (tapping Shigaraki's head) he is called Tomura Shigaraki, age 20, second in command of the League of Villains next to their leader that goes by the name All-For-One.

All Might and Midoriya were surprised to hear that name and listened intently to what I would say next. Through telepathy, I told All Might that I would keep the rest of the information a secret and tell him later. I continued…

Sage: When he was young, Shigaraki here killed his entire family when his quirk first emerged. Sure, dangerous quirks manifest now and then but how could he help it, since he was so young and had no control? Even though he was abused when he was younger, he was taken in and raised by a villain. He has no qualms about his or anyones lives, thus, from what I can see in his mind, having a heavy body count thanks to his ability and fellow villains from his little club.

Shigaraki: WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!! WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!!!!

Sage: (While smiling) Since I AM reading your mind, apparently everything. Like how those hands you have on you are those of your dead family.

Shigaraki: YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!!!

I flicked Shigaraki in the lower jaw, soft enough to dislocate it.

Sage: Continuing off from my last lecture with you guys. In the end it will be my own decision, so, what do you think should be done? Let him be arrested or take his life?

The students were taken aback. I was planning on showing them a real life example of becoming a hero and the weight of the responsibility. I locked Thirteen, Aizawa and All Might in place with telekinesis. While using telepathy I told them that it will be my call in the end.

Ida: How can you just up and decide on taking his life or not like nothing?

Sage: I guess theres no point in including your opinion Ida-kun. So what are the rest of your thoughts kids?

Momo: I say take his life.

Sage: Hoh, and your argument?

Momo: If you take his past into consideration it is understandable that he would turn to a life of crime but that does not excuse him from not only knowing that taking lives is wrong but also continuing to do so. If left to be locked up and with his connections, there is no doubt that he will be broken free and continue his destruction. There is little to no evidence of him being reformed nor trying to be.

While the usual timid or upright students were pro letting him be arrested, the majority chose to take his life. I smiled as the students gave me their honest answers. I put my hand on Shigaraki's head again and completely read everything he had hidden, from childhood to now, to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Sage: Shigaraki Tomura, or Shimura Tenko, you are charged with engaging in organized crime, trespassing in masse with the intent of committing more crimes, aggravated assault, endangering the lives of minors under the age of 18 and multiple counts of murder…

Shigaraki gave me one of the nastiest looks I have seen in a while.

Sage: You have been weighed and measured on the scales and have been found wanting. (Reconnecting his jaw) Do you have any last words?

Shigaraki: WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE ME?!?! WHO ARE ANY OF YOU?!?!?!! THIS SOCIETY, NO, THIS WORLD WILL BURN AND IF I MUST BE THE MARTYR FOR ITS IGNITION THEN SO BE IT!!!! SENSEI WILL AVENGE ME!!!!!!!

Sage: There you go, further proving that you cannot and will not change. Ten Hashira!

I made a small pillar to not break through the ceiling of the location. Shigaraki started to burn and break down as his body faded within the light of the pillar.
