Chapter 176: All Might – Revived!

When classes were over, All Might and Midoriya were in the student guidance room waiting for me. They were already in a discussion as to whether to tell Bakugou about how Midoriya obtained his quirk or not. I sat down next to Midoriya and across from All Might.

Sage: The reason I gathered you both here is to see if you both are interested in going further with your powers.

All Might: Wouldn't that be a discussion for Midoriya-shonen rather than both?

Sage: Ok. Then let me start by asking you, Toshinori Yagi, do you want to go back to being one hundred percent?

Midoriya: What do you mean making him one hundred percent?!

Sage: I mean returning to top physical form and at the same time, grow stronger.

Both Midoriya and All Might: WHAT?!?!

Midoriya: If there is such a method All Might should've heard of it. By that logic it means you have a certain power to help restore All Might, right?

Sage: I have a method and a power to heal him but I'd prefer using the method because it will help him grow on his own.

All Might: What would I need to do?

I smiled as I knew he consented. I told both Midoriya and All Might to get some extra clothes and to meet me in front of the school. When they returned I grabbed them by the shoulder and teleported to an oasis in the desert. I found this place when I went around the world. I cooked the food I picked out for both of them from Toriko's universe first before I started the method.

Sage: (To All Might) Before I start, only take off your shirt and show me your wound. Tell me in detail, how did you get that injury on your torso? Also did it cause you to lose multiple organs?

All Might: That's right.

I infused my right hand with energy and used "Delicate cooking" on All Might as he told me the story of One-for-All and how he got the injury. I didn't need to worry about Midoriya noticing what I was doing as he went full fanboy and carefully listened to All Might, not to mention I am too fast for him to keep up. Once I literally took the entire injured part of him out, opened up the partial organs he did have remaining and told him to continue with his story, I told him to eat the food I made. All Might looked confused but followed my instructions anyway.

Sage: How was the food?

All Might: It was fantastic! When I was telling you about my fight with All-for-One I was honestly feeling weak but now that I have eaten your food I feel reinvigorated, no, more than that. I feel more powerful.

I smiled as his body returned back to normal as if he received no injury. When I was at Toriko's universe, I asked them what the best ingredients would be for a highly weakened body in order to repair and regrow organs. But I also added that it was for someone with no Gourmet Cells so I needed the ingredients to not be overstimulating. The ingredients I gathered were not too high a level so as to not introduce Gourmet Cells into this universe. Seeing that the food did the trick, I told All Might to look at his now non-existant injury.

All Might: WHAT?! How can this be!!!

Midoriya: Whwhwhwhwhwhaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttt!!!!!! All Might, All Might is, All Might is healed!!!!!!!!!

Sage: Good. Now that you have your physical form back to top shape, let's now power both of you up.

I created a Back Channel around the oasis and sat the both of them down and began my explaination.

Sage: So, what exactly do you know about One-for-All, other than the powers that transferred to you?

All Might: Why ask something so simple? If you know that One-for-All transfers powers willingly to the next person and if the next person has powers already that too also transfers over, what more do you need to know?

Midoriya nodded in agreement.

Sage: (Sighs) Ok, from what you just said is the only thing you know, correct?

They both nodded and I shook my head.

Sage: (To All Might) So, you have never experimented with your powers before?

All Might: I have but I continued on from what I was taught.

Sage: One-for-All is passed on by DNA right? If so, then the power you received is literally in your very genes. With that in mind, other than using it for raw strength, have you ever made the power flow to places other than your muscles?

All Might: I, I don't believe I have.

Sage: In order to power both of you up, you need a clear understanding of the power you possess. From what I see, One-for-All can empower you far deeper with more understanding. See if you both can cycle its energy through your blood evenly. For now I say blood because you can see it and picture it flowing in your mind but if you go further, how deeper can you go?

Midoriya: If you're talking about size, then the next step would be our cells.

Sage: That's right. Get used to having the power coursing through your blood as your blood flows throughout your body. Once you have the hang of that focus on your cells. By empowering your very cells, you might not even need to train Midoriya.

Midoriya: Then, One-for-All is not just a strength quirk?

Sage: No. The reason you break skin and bones is because you were not using the quirk correctly. If you had taken the time to at least play around with the power, even minimally in your room, you would have realized that by empowering yourself to your very cells, you could withstand 100 percent of the power without training.

All Might: Then, was the training we initially did useless?

Sage: No. It is true that he can use 100 percent of One-for-All without training but that doesn't mean you can sustain it for as long as you want. The greater the power the greater the energy usage. Training is and will be essential for both of you, physically and mentally.
