Volume 1: Afterword

Heyyo guys! It's your boy JadePanda003 here bringing you the afterword for the first ever volume of this fanfiction! Ooh… I'm feeling quite hyped, writing some afterword since I never really finished even a single volume in my first fanfictions.

That aside, I want to address all of the mistakes that I've made during the making of this first volume. Lots of grammatical and spelling errors, probably some plot holes I missed, and etc.

Damn, I still remember the time when I had to proofread each chapter for like 7 times and edit it, just for my phone to totally mess it up for me and ends up not saving the chapter when I saved the edited version already. Well, I don't really blame my old buddy(my phone) for such mishaps since it's already like what? 8 years since I've been using it?

The screen is hard to touch and sometimes it would die unexpectedly. This is why I sound so frustrated sometimes when writing an author's note.

For this volume as a whole, I think many would complain that it's quite slow paced or something due to the Slice of Life parts. However, I wanted to stick to it since I wanted to further improve my world building abilities for the upcoming fanfictions like Pokémon, among other things that I wanted to write but have no time to invest on it.

The volume ended up with a BANG due to Seiji battling with a player at the level of Mitsui entering the zone. If I placed him in Kyōsen's team, I'm pretty sure GoM would be going home packing even without Seiji in it.

Mitsui just have more experience and more developed skills than a talented bunch of freshmen who haven't awakened their abilities yet. Seiji could barely keep up with him when he's in the zone and that's largely due to the fact that he owns two abilities that could more or less help him keep up, coupled with the fact that he have such a great physiology.

As many are confuse about this, I'll be clarifying things here. If you guys have seen Last Game(KnB's Movie), you probably saw how dominating Silver is? That's basically how strong Seiji will be, but with more abilities than Silver.

It came to my knowledge that everyone is actually confused as to what I meant by 'superhuman' in this novel so let me just tell you my thought process when I chose this ability.

First of all, the superhuman here meant that Seiji is beyond what a human could possibly achieve right now, but not straight up ridiculous like how strong Superman is, or how fast Flash is. I'm talking about a superhuman kind of way where Seiji, or other characters in this KnB universe for that matter, could run faster than the fastest man in the world.

A proof of just how ridiculous Seiji is, is when he managed to keep up with someone who is 'in the zone' even though he isn't in the state himself. It has been proven many a time that someone who's in the zone is the only one who could stop someone who's in it, too. However, Seiji did the impossible and kept up with Mitsui(even though Mitsui is still not that developed as a player) and matched up to him in his incomplete state.

As for the Nationals(Junior High), the very first one for GoM and our main character, will be held at the second volume. I'm kind of hyped to start writing it but I wanted to avoid getting into a massive burnout phase so I will create some relaxing to write chapters first before touching on to that topic. After the Group Stage, which is in a round-robin format, almost all of the matches during the Single Elimination(Playoffs) format will be written by yours truly to introduce the other teams, even if it's just a brief one chapter game.

Finally, I want to thank all of you who generously gave me above 4 stars as a review. Really, that means a lot to me. To those who writes comments on each chapters and inform me about their feedback, thank you. Those feedbacks are of great help to an author such as I who is just starting. Although I'm not planning on writing an original, I want to write more fanfictions in the future so these feedbacks will help me a ton.

As for those who gave and continues to give their Power Stones to this humble fanfiction of mine, thank you? I guess? I mean, I'm not really looking forward to going up the rankings since there's just gonna be more and more toxic readers that will come so it would be fine and dandy even if this remain under the radar.

P.S: I won't say anything about dropping and such. Don't wanna jinx myself. Once I find that this fanfic is starting to be a chore, I'll sit back, relax, find something fun to do, then go back into writing it. As you guys know, if you're busy with work, stress is one of the things you have to battle against. I do this as a kind of stress reliever so if this really becomes a chore, I'll stop for a week or two in writing this before continuing.

P.S.S: By the way, as volume two has come to an end, could you guys give me your honest thoughts about this fanfiction?
