Chapter 120: Safari Zone (II)

Several sounds of splashing water and muffled thumping later...

Serena was the first to come out, dripping, obviously naked of course as she wrapped a towel around her hair to dry it off. Her cheeks could be seen rosy, but she now felt calm after the first excitement she went through in the bath. She had some fun time with Itsuki and Lillie in the bath. The real thing wasn't done since the last time they actually did it since Serena still felt nervous about it, but its not like they couldn't enjoy other various acts.

She wanted to burn off some steam after spending most of the day riding a bike. Knowing that, Serena felt another wave of tiredness after her body became relaxed from the bath, and couldn't help but stretch as she was drying her hair. It didn't take long for her to see Itsuki and Lillie exit. Compared to Serena, Lillie's skin was quite white and pearly. It was much easier to see the rosiness on her cheeks. Serena grinned seeing Lillie exit the bath.

"Did you enjoy drinking it?", Serena asked with a playful smile.

"Y-You don't need to spell it out like that...", Lillie responded, only to have her cheeks blush a bit.

"Haha, no more teasing, Serena. It's clear you're already tired. I think all three of us are.", I also said, as I was able to see Serena yawn just now.

"Mmm. It was quite a long day, wasn't it? We went on Kanto's famous bike road, and we also saw Celebi. I don't think anyone else was aware of Celebi either.", Serena said. Yet at this time, we heard the sound of some rumbling, only to come from Serena's stomach. Lillie's stomach also growled a bit. Hearing this I smiled.

"Right? Well it looks like you're both tired, and hungry now. I think we still have some left over ingredients from our ride, but we are back in a city, so there's probably some restaurants we could try out too. I'm fine with doing either.", I responded.

"I don't think I can wait long enough to sit waiting for food at a restaurant...", Serena said, only to look at her stomach.

"Yeah, let's just make something quick. I think Nurse Joy said our gym challenge was in three days or so, so we should use the next one to two days to decide who we're using and train some more.", Lillie also responded.

"That we can do. I'll whip us something quick then. Thankfully these rooms have a small kitchen. They allow trainers to cook their own meals if they don't like eating out. But while dinner is being prepared, I'll show you guys something Nurse Joy gave me. We need to wake up early tomorrow. Don't forget what we signed up for.", I said with a serious tone.

"Right. The Safari Zone. The only place in Kanto where the most unique Pokemon are said to roam. We'll be able to go on a a catching spree. It's a shame what we catch though probably won't be ready for Koga.", Serena responded.

"Yeah. I believe most of our Pokemon are ready, but like Lillie said, we'll consolidate a training plan for the next two days. I think some of our Pokemon are ready to evolve too, we can't take any chances. Koga gained an opportunity to join the elite four, but he turned it down. I can't wait to see what his strength in battle is like.", I responded, feeling anticipation.

"What's the thing you'll show us?", Lillie tried to ask as she nodded her head as well.

"We can go over it over dinner. It's nothing special. Just a booklet for the Safari Zone.", I explained a bit, only to look Serena and Lillie. Serena currently had her front exposed, so her I could see her peachy breasts. Lillie was in front of me, so her pearly butt was exposed instead. Thanks to the steam from the bath, I could still see droplets of water going down their bodies. "But before that, make sure to finish drying off. We don't want you two catching colds now.", I happily responded, still seeing Serena and Lillie dripping a bit.

"Mmm.", Lillie nodded, confirming my words.

We then proceeded to finish drying ourselves, and put on our clothes. With some time passed, I made our way toward the little kitchen area, while Serena and Lillie went back to the table near the bed, only to turn on the tv to see if there was any news going on. Before long, the smell of roasted meat and herbs wafted around. We spent a lot of energy today, so it was good to refill our stamina with protein and the likes. It'll be more satisfying that way.

We also called out our smaller Pokemon. The room was big enough to call out Serena's and Lillie's Vulpix and my Ninetales. We also called our our three Eeveelutions, as well as Growlithe. Growlithe immediately took to yawning but still enjoyed the food that was prepared for him. He quickly departed for the pillows and started snoozing away. I guess he liked sleeping on top of the pillows, huh?

We all enjoyed a nice dinner in instead of going to one of the restaurants tonight. Jolteon, Sylveon, and Umbreon coiled up around each other in one corner, as did the other three. With full bellies they started to sleep. The sunset had well passed now so it was night time. Going over the booklet, it described the different habitats of the Safari Zone, and which areas were safe, and which ones weren't. It also listed out most of the Pokemon that were available for catching.

Unlike the games to where a person had limited steps, here we only had a limited amount of balls. We could not take in our own Pokeballs. That was the one rule of the Safari Zone, try your luck with what was given to you. And if I remember correctly, the number of Safari Balls given were about thirty. So there's good chances to walk away with a few Pokemon that can't be caught anywhere else.

And who knows, we may be lucky to find a dragon Pokemon. Every time we catch news of the Safari Zone, it's rumored to have Dratini in the depths of the Safari Zone, but not many have been successful in finding it. I won't try my luck with Dratini though, considering that there is Dragonite Island that comes and goes depending on the ocean's tides. It is a rather mysterious island, but that was where most Dratini can be found.

But regardless of the Safari Zone having Dratini or not, it was still one of the biggest places in Kanto to explore, and catch a lot of Pokemon if we're lucky. It had a total of four to five zones, each containing a different habitat for different kinds of Pokemon. Thanks to the booklet, we were able able to get a general idea of the Safari Zone. It was always best to go in with a game plan to one of these areas, as it was easy to get sidetracked in there.

It was also the home to the most strongest normal type Pokemon as well. I was going to personally hunt a Snorlax. Serena decided on a Tauros, while Lillie decided on a Kangaskhan. I did already have Porygon, but it didn't hurt to have multiple normal type Pokemon.

Seeing a solid game plan in mind, we chatted the rest of our time over dinner, and the moon soon rose high into the skies. People were still out and about in the big city, but we had a long day ourselves. Our Pokemon were already snoozing away, so the three of us hit the bed, and clocked out early for the night.

The next morning came and we woke up pretty early. We just had one thing in mind on today's agenda, and that was having fun in the Safari Zone. We knew it was located in the north part of the city, so that's exactly where we headed. It actually took a good moment to reach there, but we soon saw the city life fade behind us, as the scenery changed to a humongous ranch, sporting different types of habitats. We could see a building off to the side, which we could only assume it was the entrance into the Safari Zone.

Unexpected to our anticipation, however, we were greeted with a rather eccentric old fellow, who seemed to be similar age to Professor Oak...
