 "What good would joining your sect do us?" Grayson asked Elder Mai.

 "You already have something in mind so spit it out. Otherwise, you wouldn't still be here talking to me." Elder Mai said calmly.

 "I have a preposition for you and your sect." Grayson said.

 "What is it?" Elder Mai asked.

 "I need to reach to a certain level within 2 years and to do that I will need access to all A-ranked missions and above. I can't afford to waste time on missions ranked any less than that. If you can give me access to that then we will join your sect." Grayson answered.

 "You're only an Ascended Cultivator, you'll just end up killing yourself trying to take on more than you can handle. No matter how talented you are, what good would joining our sect do if you're dead? Getting lucky with one S-rank mission doesn't prove you're qualified to do any missions higher than that." Elder Mai said.
