16 After The Mission

Sarada's POV

"Oii, Sarada where are you going?" Cho cho asked walking up to me with her team. "Just to the library to read some books." I said. " Well have you seen Boruto, we haven't seen him since your last mission." Inojin ask with concern in his voice. "Yeah and he's not much of a person who stays home." Shikadai said lazily.

" Hey guys, haven't seen you for a while." Boruto said walking down the road with Mitsuki and I just roll my eyes. " speak of the devil." I say in an annoyed tone. "So what happened on your last mission, I mean Kimui is not with you guys she usually goes to the library with you right Sarada?" Cho cho ask after looking at her friends expressions. "We'd rather not talk about the last mission." Boruto said swiftly.

"Com'on you just got me interested." Cho cho said in a pleading voice. " Why don't you ask her." Boruto said pointing to Kimui who came out of the library close by. " Fine we'll ask her." Cho cho said pouting.

I was walking down the road holding on to the book I borrowed and Cho cho, Inojin and Shikadai came out of nowhere. I decided to just ignore them and walk away. "Hey Kimui, we need to talk to you, it's important." Inojin said in a strong voice. I guess they told them already. I thought as I just walked away with the others staring at me.

Then I felt a strong grip on my hand I was already frustrated so I tried to snap the hand away. "what do you want?" I said angrily turning around to be met with three surprised faces. Inojin who was holding my hand let go and stepped back cause my eyes were no longer normal they were mangekyou sharingan. They didn't know. I thought as realization hit me hard while I was already jumping from roof to roof.

"Hey kid you are pretty stupid" The Biju said inside me.

"Shut up haven't you ruined my life enough already." I said to it as I came to a stop at the training grounds of course no one can hear me.

I started training so much that I reached my limit fast. I went home because I drained almost all of my chakra by training all my anger out. I fell into a dreamless sleep as soon as I hit the pillow.

Boruto's POV

"So you're saying this sharingan is the one that Kimui had that day." I said confused. " The mangekyou sharingan that is said to only be unlocked due to an emotional trauma." Mitsuki said reading the book.

" So Kimui went through a lot of emotional trauma I suppose." Sarada said in a sympathetic voice. " But even if that is that way she could have at least told us." I said a little irritated. " Don't worry Boruto we'll figure this out" Mitsuki said giving me a pat.

~Time skip boruto goes to the hokages office~

"hey old man I need to talk to you." I said as soon as I enter the office. "Huh Boruto what do you want to talk about? Dad asked. "I want to know what the mangekyou sharingan is." I said in a demanding voice. "Mangekyou sharingan why are you so interested in that." Dad asked. "Well you see on our last mission I heard someone talking about it so I thought you might know." I said not wanting to tell the truth.

"I don't actually know anything about mangekyou sharingan only Uchihas know that information." Dad said in a truthful voice. "I should have known you didn't know anything about it, well thanks anyway old man." I said trying to intimidate him but it didn't work.

"I just don't know what I did wrong I mean I just touched her hand to prevent her from going without answering us." I heard Inojin say. "This is such a drag, each of them are acting weird and Kimui seemed overly angry so my thinking is either they found something about her and it was not good or Boruto played a prank on her." Shikadai said. "What do you mean they found something about her." Cho cho asked.

"you know it's not good to spy on your friends right." I was startled by Sarada's voice from behind me. "Well I had to listen, wait what are you doing here other than spying." I accused Sarada. "use your eyes Boruto I'm heading home to cook dinner." Sarada said slightly annoyed. "Oh well, I guess I'll see you at Himawari's birthday in two days." I said as I started walking towards home.

I woke up jumping on the bed, I looked outside and noticed that the sun was already setting. I slept that long I thought. The night air was flowing through the window and there was a feeling in my gut telling me that something is very wrong. I felt Kakashi's chakra in the house so I walked down the stairs seeing him cooking dinner.

"Oh your awake, you were sleeping so I didn't want to wake you how was your mission." He said as he saw me sit down at the table. "It was fine, but it's good to be home." I said and he didn't push for any farther information. Then Konohamaru sensei's voice came to my mind.

"Actually I want to talk about the mission with you." I said trying to hide that I was uncomfortable. "Sure I'm listening." Kakashi said as he sat down at the table. "Well, Boruto and Sarada found out about a couple things about me since we were at the mist and I sort of lost my temper on the boat and snapped at Boruto. I don't think any of them will talk to me again." I said briefly. "How did they find out." Kakashi asked. "Kagura told them." I replied. "Oh, yeah aren't you two friends." Kakashi said as he lifted up his chopsticks to eat.

I froze up. Should I tell him maybe not know. I thought. "I know he attacked you because of an order but I thought you would have forgiven him by now." Kakashi said as soon as he noticed my expression. You left me no choice now Kakashi. I thought. "The thing is I told him everything and I thought he understood and when he came after me he...….he k-kissed me to stab me." I blurted out something I told no one. As soon as I said this Kakashi choked on air cause he finished eating a long time ago. "He what?" Kakashi said astonished. Knew that was a bad idea. I thought.

"Hehe." I said nervously.
